iCloud+ Will Let iCloud Mail Users Personalize Email Domain Names

If you use a free email service like Gmail or Yahoo or even Apple’s iCloud, the only personalization you get is the front of the email, but otherwise at the back it will be the same as everyone else. However, it seems that if you’re going to be an iCloud+ subscriber, Apple will actually allow you to personalize your email domain name.

Right now, iCloud users have email addresses that end with “@icloud.com”. However, according to Apple, the company mentions on its iOS 15 features preview page that users can “Personalize your ‌iCloud‌ Mail address with a custom domain name, and invite family members to use the same domain with their ‌iCloud‌ Mail accounts.”

This isn’t exactly a new or groundbreaking feature. Other services like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace already allow for email address personalization, so this is actually Apple being late to the party. However, some have pointed out that this could be enough to help convince people away from the competition, although right now we’re not sure what kind of limitations are in place.

For those unfamiliar, iCloud+ was introduced at WWDC 2021 as a new set of privacy focused features available to paying iCloud customers. This includes features like hiding your internet traffic and your email address to prevent spam and also to prevent people from stalking you. It will be included with all iCloud subscriptions at no extra charge.

Seagate Launches Limited Edition Cyberpunk 2077 SSD

Components like hard drives and SSDs are placed within our computers, so you don’t always get to look at it, or rather why would you? However, a lot of chassis makers these days are creating PC cases with windows to help highlight the build, which is why not only does the component need to be good internally, but it has to look good externally.

If you’re after a fancy looking SSD, then you might be interested to learn that Seagate has recently announced a limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 SSD. It seems a bit late considering that the game has been out for a while and the hype has kind of died down a bit, but at the same time, it is a rather striking looking SSD that might look good in any case even if you aren’t a fan of the game.

This SSD is the FireCuda 520 Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition and as expected, there will only be 2,077 units made. The SSD will only come in 1TB of storage, versus the regular version of the FireCuda which is offered in multiple storage sizes from 500GB up to 2TB. However, apart from the looks, it should function exactly the same.

As for pricing, Seagate did not mention how much it will cost. However, the regular 1TB FireCuda 520 is priced at $210, but given the limited edition nature of this SSD, we expect it should be priced a bit higher than that.
