The Apple Watch features interchangeable bands, as is the case with most watches, but it seems that maybe at some point in time, Apple could have explored the idea of smart bands. These are bands for the Apple Watch that do more than just strap the watch to your wrist and could have the potential to give the watch more capabilities.
This is according to a tweet by Giulio Zompetti who collects rare Apple devices. In the photo he shared on Twitter, Zompetti revealed what he claims is a prototype unit of the Apple Watch Series 3 where hidden in the recess of the slot for the watch’s band are two circular dots that seem to be similar to that of the Smart Connectors used in Apple’s iPad.
Apple might have experimented on some “smart bands” in earlier revisions of Apple Watch S3.

This has led to speculation that maybe Apple had planned to use those connectors for a smart band. Now it should be noted that this is the Series 3 watch which means that it is kind of old and since we haven’t seen anything from Apple since, it might be safe to assume that this is a plan that the company might have scrapped.
However, what’s interesting about this discovery is that back in 2017, which was when the Series 3 was launched, there was an Apple patent that was discovered that hinted at smart bands. Obviously none of this has come to pass and we’re not sure if it will, but it’s still fun to think about the what-ifs.

The defending all-around gold medalist officially punched her ticket to the Summer Games.
Apple is expected to announce their next-gen smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 7, later this year. Based on the rumors, this is the first time in a long time that the watch will be undergoing a massive redesign, but if you were hoping to see some major new features, it is possible that you might be disappointed.
However, for those who prefer a longer-lasting battery, then your wish could be granted. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he believes that the Series 7 could be the first Apple Watch to adopt a double-sided System In Package. This is to help reduce the overall size of the processor in the watch, which Taiwan’s Economic Daily News believes could result in more space being freed up and thus a larger battery could be fit inside of it.
As it stands, the Apple Watch doesn’t have the best battery life. While it’s not terrible by any means, it definitely could stand to be improved upon, especially with features like sleep tracking which would require the user to wear the watch all day and all night. We’re not sure how much bigger the battery could be, but hopefully it will be significant enough.
While there have been rumors about Apple introducing features like a non-invasive method of measuring blood glucose levels, recent reports claim that it is apparently still years from being a reality. There have been other rumored features like a body temperature sensor, but apparently that won’t arrive until 2022.

Google’s algorithm works in a way that attempts to bring the most relevant websites based on your search to the front page. Usually your best bet for what you’re looking for is in the first page, and the further back you go, generally you start to find less reliable sources. However, since Google doesn’t actually create the content, how reliable the sources are depends on what’s available.
This is something that Google wants users to be more aware about moving forwards. This means that sometimes when the search results are changing too quickly due to a rapidly-evolving topic, Google will now display a warning and will advise users to wait until more reliable sources can be found.
According to Google, “While Google Search will always be there with the most useful results we can provide, sometimes the reliable information you’re searching for just isn’t online yet. This can be particularly true for breaking news or emerging topics, when the information that’s published first may not be the most reliable.”
They add, “To help with this, we’ve trained our systems to detect when a topic is rapidly evolving and a range of sources hasn’t yet weighed in. We’ll now show a notice indicating that it may be best to check back later when more information from a wider range of sources might be available.” These changes should already be live and is expected to roll out to more users over the coming months.
