“It’s really strange … just about everything I said is being corroborated,” Giuliani said. It’s not.
There are many reasons why one might accidentally lose a GoPro while out on a hike, biking, adventuring, and so on. For the most part, you never expect to find it again, but in this instance, a man by the name of Dylan Schilt actually found a lost GoPro while out in the wilderness doing some archery hunting.
While stumbling across lost gadgets isn’t new, what Schilt found was rather amazing. According to Schilt, “Last week when I was up archery hunting, I stumbled across a GoPro that was lost while snowmobiling. When I got back to camp I charged it up and couldn’t believe what I saw.”
It seems that Schilt was actually not the first to find the lost GoPro. After charging up the camera and looking through the footage, he found a clip in which a black bear had actually stumbled across the camera and somehow managed to turn it on and started recording himself playing with it.
The footage (see video above) shows the bear hitting the camera around with both of its paws and even carrying it in its mouth. The bear seems to eventually get bored of the GoPro, perhaps after figuring out it isn’t edible, and leaves it on the ground where Schilt eventually stumbles across it himself.

Since it would be too troublesome and almost unrealistic to expect streaming service providers to comply with Apple’s App Store rules, many have found a workaround and that is by making the streaming service compatible with Safari, Apple’s mobile browser. This means that iOS device owners can stream games on their phones and developers don’t need to give into Apple’s demands.
It sounds like a win-win situation, but unfortunately it looks like at least for Google Stadia, the iOS 15 update seems to have broken it. According to a post on Reddit, a Stadia Community Manager shared that iOS 15 could have made some changes that makes Stadia unplayable on iOS devices, and also how to potentially fix the problem.
Basically, users will need to make some setting changes to Safari by going to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Experimental Features and disable “WebRTC Platform UDP Sockets”. It is unclear if this will be a permanent fix or if it is only a temporary one, but it’s looking like the latter as some users are reporting they’re still having issues streaming games. Some are also reporting that they are seeing gray borders while playing games.
It is unclear what exactly the problem might be and if it is a bug within Safari or if Stadia needs to be updated to ensure compatibility with iOS 15, but for now if you do run into issues, then this is a potential fix you can look into for now.

Ever since the first Echo made its debut, over the years, Amazon has made various changes to the lineup by coming up with new designs and new variations of its Echo speakers. This includes creating smaller versions like the Echo Dot, to Echo speakers that come with a built-in display.
Now according to a report from Bloomberg, it seems that Amazon could be working on yet another iteration of its Echo devices, except that this version could be the company’s largest effort to date. The report claims that this Echo device will feature a 15-inch display and will also be wall mounted.
This suggests that Amazon could be looking to make this Echo unit a smart home center where users could potentially use it to replace traditional light switches and control it all from the display. It could also serve as a display to stream video from security cameras or smart doorbell systems like Ring, which is also owned by Amazon.
It sounds rather exciting, although we’re not sure how much such a device could cost just yet. Amazon is expected to host an event on the 28th of September, so we should have more details about this device (and others) then.

Third-Party Apps Won’t Be Able To Take Full Advantage Of The iPhone 13’s 120Hz Display
Posted in: Today's ChiliWith the launch of the iPhone 13, Apple has finally brought its ProMotion display to its iPhones. It’s basically a fancier way of saying that the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max models now have a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to what many Android handset makers have been doing for a while now.
That being sad, we should tamper our expectations a bit. This is because as it turns out, third-party apps cannot take full advantage of the faster refresh rates. It has been discovered that for third-party apps, their animations are being capped at 60Hz, which is the same refresh rate as older iPhones and the cheaper iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 phones.
ProMotion kicks in when there is scrolling involved and when there are full screen transitions happening, but everywhere else, animations are capped at 60Hz. This means that you could be scrolling through an app and enjoying the smooth refresh rates, but then you tap on a different part of the app and those animations seem a little less fluid, resulting in a very jarring experience.
What’s odd is that apparently these restrictions do not apply to the iPad Pro which has had a 120Hz display since 2017. It has been suggested that this could be due to battery where Apple could be trying to make it more energy efficient, but hopefully this is something that they’ll be able to address in the future.

One of the features that Apple introduced to the iPhone and Apple Watch during the pandemic was the ability to unlock the iPhone using an Apple Watch while wearing a mask. Prior to this, users had no other option but to enter their passcode in place of other forms of security, such as Face ID.
However, it seems that this feature might be broken in the iPhone 13. According to a post on Reddit, it appears that there are quite a few users who claim that the unlock with Apple Watch feature is not working when paired with the iPhone 13.
According to the thread starter, “So I have an Apple Watch SE and just got my iPhone 13 Pro today, both of which are fully up to date with the newest iOS updates. Whenever I try to enable unlock with Apple Watch on my phone I get an error saying ‘Unable to communicate with Apple Watch’”.
Keep in mind that as far as we know, this only seems to affect the iPhone 13 models. Users are claiming that it worked fine with older iPhone models until they upgraded to the iPhone 13, after which the feature appeared to stop working. We’re not sure if this affects all iPhone 13 devices or if it is limited, but it is clearly a bug and one that hopefully Apple will fix ASAP.

Usually software updates come with things like bug fixes and security patches. Unfortunately for iOS 15, it seems that Apple has left in three zero-day exploits despite being warned in advance. This is according to a post by an anonymous security researcher and shared and verified by Kosta Eleftheriou.
According to the post, “I’ve reported four 0-day vulnerabilities this year between March 10 and May 4, as of now three of them are still present in the latest iOS version (15.0) and one was fixed in 14.7, but Apple decided to cover it up and not list it on the security content page.”
They add, “When I confronted them, they apologized, assured me it happened due to a processing issue and promised to list it on the security content page of the next update. There were three releases since then and they broke their promise each time.”
The researcher then gave Apple the courtesy by giving them an opportunity to respond and provide an explanation, if not they would make the information public, which obviously they haven’t which is why those vulnerabilities have since been disclosed.
These vulnerabilities are a bit technical but they are explained on the researcher’s blog, so if you’re curious to learn more you can check it out. Apple has yet to respond to the post, but given that these exploits have been made public and are potentially exploitable by hackers who now know about them, hopefully they’ll be patching them ASAP.
