Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 14 MMORPG has been out for a while now and it is playable on the PC, macOS, the PS4 and PS5, and conspicuously missing from that list is the Xbox platform. It was hinted back in 2015 that this was because of exclusivity, but the following year, the game’s director and producer Naoki Yoshida said that a version launching on the Xbox was still a possibility.
Fast forward to today, about five years later, and there is still no Xbox version in sight. So what’s the deal? The good news is that Square Enix and the FF14 team still haven’t given up bringing the game onto Xbox, but the bad news is that nothing concrete has been announced yet. This is according to an interview that Yoshida did with Easy Allies.
According to Yoshida, “So I feel bad for saying the same thing every time. But we are still in discussions with Microsoft and I feel like our conversations are going in a positive tone. I don’t want to say that we do not have an Xbox version but I’m hoping that the timing will be very soon that I’ll have some kind of update to the players.”
He also says that he would love to share more details, but he can’t. That being said, with FF14 being an ever-growing and ever-evolving game due to the fact that it is an MMORPG, we suppose as long as players are still playing, it doesn’t really matter when it comes to the Xbox. Either way, it sounds like Xbox gamers could be in for a wait so if you were hoping for better news, you might be disappointed.

A little over a week ago, Rockstar announced GTA: The Trilogy. This is essentially a remastering of the first three Grand Theft Auto games. Now according to a post on the GTA Forums, the alleged minimum and recommended specs you will need to run the game on your PC has been revealed.
Starting with the minimum specs, according to the post, you would need a computer that has an Intel Core i5-2700K or AMD FX-6300 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB or AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB GPU, 8GB RAM, 45GB of storage, and run Windows 10.
Then for the recommended specs, we’re talking about a PC with an Intel Core i7-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB or AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB GPU, 16GB RAM, and the same 45GB of storage and a Windows 10 PC.
The PC requirements for GTA Trilogy are higher than the requirements for GTA V. 👀https://t.co/gtGD7IbZbd pic.twitter.com/1DgWNZup5Z

These are strangely enough very high system requirements for games that are more than a decade old, but that could also hint at how big of a remaster the trilogy will be. According to Rockstar’s announcement earlier this month, “Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will feature across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals.”
These aren’t the official specs yet so there is a chance that it might be not 100% accurate, so we’ll be waiting for an official announcement from Rockstar which hopefully won’t be too far off.

As per the rumors, it looks like Apple has officially announced the third-gen AirPods at the company’s Unleashed event. Sure enough, it looks like the rumors were also right about the design of the earphones. The stems have been shortened and the earbuds now look a bit more like the AirPods Pro.
We wouldn’t say that it looks exactly like the AirPods Pro, but it definitely looks different from its predecessor. Apart from the external design, Apple claims to have redesigned the internals of the earphones.
It will feature a new low distortion driver and will support features that were previously found on the AirPods Pro. This includes spatial audio and adaptive EQ, the latter of which can automatically adjust the frequencies so you can listen to music as the artist intended. Apple has also announced that the new third-gen AirPods will feature both sweat and water resistance, so you can use it during a workout and not worry about your sweat damaging it.
Apple has also improved on the battery life of the AirPods where it will now feature 6 hours of listening time. Users can also charge it for five minutes to give it an hour of listening time, and its charging case will give users a total of 30 hours. Speaking of the charging case, it looks like Apple has adapted MagSafe to the new AirPods, so you can charge it on the same MagSafe system that Apple uses for its iPhones.
The third-gen AirPods is priced at $179 and pre-orders are live today and are expected to begin shipping out to customers next week.
