Photoshop on the Web is now available in beta with limited features

For the longest time, Photoshop has been the household name when it comes to image editing and digital painting software. While it now has a bit more competition, it’s still the de facto standard in the creative industry, despite and in spite of unpopular changes Adobe made to how it distributes the software. Its cloud-centric business model, however, may have … Continue reading

Palm Buds Pro is the brand’s latest attempt at staying relevant

Perhaps in a few years or so, there will be fewer people around to remember that Palm isn’t just a body part. While the brand still has at least one mobile device under its name, it no longer has the same clout that it did, especially compared to former rival BlackBerry. Palm, under TCL’s stewardship, has been teasing a new … Continue reading

iPhone SE Plus rumored for 2022, iPhone SE 3 delayed to 2024

The iPhone 13 launched with minimal upgrades, disappointing some hoping to see spectacular new features in this year’s Apple flagship phone. The same disappointment was echoed by some with the Apple Watch Series 7, though expectations were set by unofficial information anyway. Rumors of the next iPhone SE model didn’t help alleviate concerns of what some have called a “brain … Continue reading

Apple Delaying New MacBook Pro Pre-Orders

If you have pre-ordered one of Apple’s new MacBook Pros recently, you might want to check your email. This is because according to a bunch of user reports, it seems that Apple has delayed pre-orders for their new MacBook Pro laptops seemingly without warning by sending emails to customers.

According to the emails that Apple has been sending out, it reads, “There’s been a change to your delivery date. The most current delivery information is shown below. We’ll notify you when your order ships.” For some, they were previously notified that the laptops would be shipping this week, but then the email is now showing a December shipping date instead.

However, it should be noted that this seems to have mostly affected custom orders, also known as Configure to Order. Basically these are orders that deviate from the preconfigured models that Apple has in their store, so if you opted for a different chipset configuration, RAM, or storage, it most likely falls under that category.

What’s strange is that Apple did not warn customers ahead of time before they placed their order that it could be delayed, but either way, if you did pre-order one of the new laptops, you should check your email just to be safe.

Master & Dynamic Gets Into Gaming With Its MG20 Headset

When it comes to headphones and earbuds, Master & Dynamic is one of the brands that are favored by audiophiles. The company has quite a number of high quality headphones and earphones, but it seems that the company has decided that isn’t enough and is looking to expand into gaming.

This has resulted in the company announcing their latest audio product which comes in the form of the MG20 gaming headset. Thankfully, unlike other gaming headset brands, Master & Dynamic has opted to go with a more understated design that looks more like the company’s other products.

We’re talking about the use of materials such as aluminum, magnesium, lambskin leather, and Alcantara. The MG20 also comes with a detachable boom microphone arm so you can stow it away when you just want to use it as a pair of headphones.

Speaking of the headphones, they will feature 50mm drivers that offer 7.1 surround sound, aptX HD for music, and aptX Low-Latency for mobile gaming. The accompanying app also comes with EQ controls so users can choose a sound profile that best suits their needs. The headphones are said to last 22 hours per charge and come with wear detection that saves battery when not in use.

That being said, as stylish as these headphones look, they do not come cheap. The Master & Dynamic MG20 is priced at $450 and is expected to be available come 16th of November.

iOS 15.1 Released With SharePlay

One of the features that Apple announced at WWDC 2021 that would be part of iOS 15, is called SharePlay. This is basically where users on a FaceTime call can do things together like share each other’s screen, music, and so on. However, it was not part of the iOS 15 update, at least until now.

If SharePlay was a feature that you have been eagerly looking forward to, then you’ll want to update ASAP. This is because Apple has since released the iOS 15.1 update and as part of that update, SharePlay is one of the features you can anticipate.

In addition to SharePlay, iOS 15.1 brings other features to the table. For example, iPhone 13 Pro users will now be able to record ProRes videos. Apple has also made some changes to the iPhone 13’s macro photography where users can disable it if they want in case macro photos wasn’t something they intended to do.

There are also new Shortcuts tools with pre-built actions that let you overlay text on images or GIFs, plus there are also a bunch of new games that you can play with Siri if that’s your kind of thing. The update should already be live so head on over to your iPhone’s Settings to pull it manually if you haven’t received the prompt yet.
