Styled after the first-aid sprays found throughout Resident Evil games, GameFlavor has collaborated with Capcom to create the Resident Evil First Aid Drink Collector’s Box, a box of canned beverages inspired by the in-game health items. That’s cool, but if life plans on treating me as brutally as the 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2, I’m going to need way more than just one box.

The boxes, limited to 4,750 worldwide, each contain 10 cucumber lime mint soft drink cans, along with one spray cap to put on top for realism, and four “save” typewriter ribbon canisters each containing a different colored herb (also inspired by the ones from the games) for mixing fancy cocktails. Wow, I had no idea there was such an overlap in the Resident Evil fan base and mixologist markets.

Am I going to buy a case? Well, the cases are priced at around $215, making them significantly more expensive than the store-brand soft drinks I use for mixers now, so that answer is more than likely a very strong ‘no.’ Which, coincidentally, is the same answer I’d give if you asked if I feel comfortable playing Resident Evil Village at home alone after dark.
