You can now play Donkey Kong ‘94 through Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo added an absolute gem to its Switch Online library of classic titles this week: the 1994 Game Boy game, Donkey Kong. The beloved game arrives alongside the 1995 puzzle game, Mario’s Picross. Both are available now for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, right in time for Mario Day (March 10).

Donkey Kong built upon the arcade game that came before it, and features roughly 100 stages. The story should feel pretty familiar even to those who don’t have a nostalgic connection to it — Donkey Kong has kidnapped a beautiful woman (Pauline) and Mario is in hot pursuit to rescue her. While the Super Game Boy brought some enhancements for the original game, those haven’t been carried over for Nintendo Switch. But it should still be a treat to revisit as is. Mario’s Picross offers a totally different experience, presenting the player with a couple hundred puzzles to solve by chiseling away at boxes and uncovering the secret image below.

Realme 14 Pro Series Globally Launched At MWC 2025

At MWC 2025 in Barcelona, realme outlined its three-year strategic plan and expanded the global availability of the 14 Pro series. The company aims to accelerate growth, positioning itself as a leading smartphone brand in over 100 markets worldwide.

It targets the delivery of 100 million AI-powered smartphones over the next three years and plans to double its global user base. This will be achieved through a strategic focus on product development, brand enhancement, and technological innovation across its three product lines: GT series (flagships), Number Series (mid-range), and C Series (durable budget models).

As part of its AI strategy, realme introduced the NEXT AI initiative, designed to make AI-powered photography, efficiency, and gaming more accessible and user-friendly while maintaining high performance.

realme 14 Pro Series

Having initially launched the 14 Pro series in India in January 2025, realme has now officially introduced the smartphones to the European market. Both the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Plus feature an innovative interchangeable lens system and a “Pearl Unique Design,” which uses thermochromic pigments to change color based on temperature. They are TÜV Rheinland-certified for water and dust resistance, with ratings up to IP69.

The key difference lies in hardware:

  • realme 14 Pro: 6.77″ AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300 chipset.
  • realme 14 Pro Plus: 6.83″ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, and a periscope telephoto lens (50 MP) in addition to the standard 50 MP primary and 8 MP ultrawide cameras.

Both models share a 32 MP front camera, 6,000 mAh battery, and fast charging (80W for the Pro Plus, 45W for the Pro).

Realme 14 Pro Lite

Realme also introduced the 14 Pro Lite, a rebranded version of the Realme 13 Pro, featuring a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 6.7″ AMOLED display (120Hz), and 5,200 mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It includes a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 32 MP selfie camera. The phone offers 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and runs Android 14 with Realme UI 5

Availability and Price

The Realme Pro series will hit the stores in the following weeks, and in terms of pricing, the Pro Plus was teased with a €435 (~$457) value, the Pro Plus will cost around €589 (~$619), while the Pro Lite will hit the stores first in India starting from 24.999 INR (~$286).

An “Ultra” device on the way?!

The company took the opportunity and also teased an upcoming device (probably for later this year) that will come with “an ultra-large sensor and optical telephoto lens engineered to redefine smartphone photography” as it’s main differential. A press release, claims that the “ultra-tier device uses a sensor larger than those in flagship models” (probably comparing the phone with the Galaxy S25 Ultra or iPhone 17 Pro Max).
