Pioneer has added another 16x internal Blu-ray write to its product page, the BDR-S09J-BK. Corresponding to Windows 8.1 operating system, the BDR-S09J-BK comes with a 4MB of buffer memory, a SATA connection interface and BDXL support, and can provide write speeds of up to 16x for BD-R. Coming in a 5.25-inch form factor, the drive features a SATA connection interface, ‘E-Green’ function (to reduce by up to 50% power consumption when you are not using the drive), M-DISC DVD + R & BDXL support and promises to provide write speeds of up to 16x for BD-R.
