July 2007
July was the month of changes for CyberNet! After spending two months designing and implementing a new design for the site from scratch, we launched it. We also worked on optimizing the site, and added a handful of new features like Avatar support, advanced thumbnail navigation, and more. Around the same time, we shared a few facts about ourselves and asked our readers to in turn share something about themselves in hopes of getting to know our community better. August was a slow month to say the least, but the two topics that managed to appear in the news pretty regularly were Opera and Firefox. At the end of the month, the Opera team was working hard to get the Opera 9.5 download pushed out the door (our review here) while Mozilla was taking steps to improve upon their 50% retention rate for Firefox.
