Specs-wise, the drive is equipped with a USB 2.0 connection interface, TurboUSB function for improving the effective transfer rate by optimizing the mechanism for the transfer of USB (shorten the waiting time, and free of stress) and promises to provide write speeds of up to 24x for DVD-R/+R. Codenamed DVR-UA24EZ, the drive features a USB 2.0 connection interface and is able to provide write speeds of up to 24x for single-layer DVD-R.
