Adventure Time Gingerbread Candy Kingdom: More Edible than Mathematical

If you are a fan of the Cartoon Network show Adventure Time, then you know that Finn and Jake are always adventuring in and around the Candy Kingdom. They don’t ever seem tempted to eat the kingdom however, which is weird, because it is obviously delicious.

Now the candy kingdom has come to life and it is even more tasty. Redditor IHaveAFluffyCat wanted to bring this sweet kingdom to life so she created a sugary masterpiece called the Gingerbread Candy Kingdom.

The entire thing is edible, with lots of nice details like the lickable Gumball Guardians and the fluffy cotton candy trees. It’s a nice place to visit with my mouth, but I wouldn’t want to live there.

X-Ray Illustrations: Cartoon Characters Exposed

Unless you’re an invertebrate, you probably have a skeleton. But even though we all have these bony structures holding us together, we still find skeletons kind of creepy. French artist Chris Panda seems to have an obsession with skeletons, having created a series of illustrations which let us see the bones of cartoon, video game, and pop culture icons.

The image of Sylvester with Tweety Bird in his stomach is pretty amusing, and Batman looks quite majestic, but Ariel’s skeleton put me in the mood to eat fish for dinner tonight. Is that wrong?

The series of images includes everyone from The Legend of Zelda’s Link, to Fionna and Cake from Adventure Time to Popeye. But the most disturbing image of all has to be this one of Miley Cyrus twerking with Beetlejuice. That’s even harder to look at than the original – now that’s an accomplishment.

LEGO BMO Raspberry Pi Computer is Red Hot Like Pizza Supper

LEGO enthusiast Michael Thomas made this awesome LEGO replica of  Adventure Time’s BMO. But wait! BMO is computer! Michael also put a Raspberry Pi inside BMO, as well as a 2.5″ screen. That means he can actually use his BMO to play video games, just like Finn and Jake do with the cartoon BMO.

Michael’s BMO runs on Raspbian, a Debian-based operating system optimized for the Raspberry Pi.  It also has a USB port, a microSD card adapter and a microUSB cable for power.

BMO Says It’s Tea Time!

If you watch Adventure Time, you know that BMO is an incredibly versatile robot. He/She/It can function as a video game console, toaster, flashlight, alarm clock, music player, electrical outlet and more. And now, BMO can serve you a cup of tea.

This awesome four-cup BMO teapot was handcrafted by Rebekka Ferbrache of Jade Flower Ceramics, and is a perfect likeness of the Game Boy-inspired robot pal. Rebekka says she was inspired by the Bitter sketch from Five More Short Graybles, in which BMO teaches its alter ego Football how to drink tea with pinkies extended.

But wait, there’s more – you don’t just get BMO when you buy this teapot. You’ll also get four nifty ceramic teacups so you have a place to pour your freshly-steeped brew instead of directly onto the surface of your coffee table.

The BMO tea set is available over on Jade Flower’s Etsy shop for $150(USD).

LEGO Adventure Time Tree Fort Concept: Architectural!

Cuusoo member Jazlecraz wants LEGO to make a set based on the happiest post-apocalyptic cartoon  ever made: Adventure Time. The set consists of two versions of the Tree Fort, home to lead characters Jake the Dog and Finn the Human Minifigure.

The larger version of the Tree Fort is made of 1,300 pieces and is hollow, meaning you can look inside and play with the different rooms and furniture. It also comes with Finn and Jake minifigs. Then there’s the Micro Tree Fort, which is just made of 400 pieces but is still recognizable. It also comes with Finn and Jake microfigures.

Jazlecraz is also thinking of additional characters to include in the set – you can see the Ice King’s already representing the sort of bad guys of Ooo. Wield your mouse cursor sword and vote for the concept on Cuusoo.

Amazing BMO Adventure Time Birthday Cake Has a Colorful Surprise on the Inside

The multifunctional BMO crosses over with Nyan Cat in this spectacular birthday cake that was baked for somebody named Pen. I’m sure those who were were in attendance at Pen’s birthday party had an awesome time that was made even more awesome, thanks to the mere presence of this fantabulous, multi-layered and multi-colored cake.

Adventure Time CakeThe image was posted on Reddit, where users were quick to analyze how the BMO cake was made.

In case you were wondering yourself, here’s how, according to user static80085:

  1. Separate the batters out and individually dye them with food colouring like so.
  2. Prepare 6 shallow, square cake pans (size is dependent on your cake size).
  3. For each cake pan, pour all of the colors in the color scheme you’d like at the middle of the cake pan (e.g. pour the red in first, then the yellow, then the green, etc.). Example would be here.
  4. Bake and assemble!

This cake is just pure win.
