Windows 7 themes

I know a bunch of people who customize the appearance of their desktop, but many don’t know that Windows 7 supports themes that rotate between desktop backgrounds and automatically adjusts the color of the Aero interface. The thing most users don’t know is that Microsoft actually has a site that offers Windows 7 themes. The themes are broken up into various categories including holidays/seasons, landscapes, automotive, and much more. In all there are about 180 available including a theme for Angry Birds.

If you’re running an older version of Windows that doesn’t support themes you can always jump on over to Microsoft’s desktop background page that includes over 200 high-quality backgrounds you can grab. Many of them are really amazing and are definitely worth browsing if you haven’t done so already.

The World's Biggest Jet Engine Is Brawnier Than Alan Shepard's Rocket

The Wright Flyer took off in 1903 powered by a measly 12 horsepower straight-four. Little did Orville and Wilbur know that just 110 years later, their pokey engines would eventually lead to a power plant with more horsepower than The Titanic and Shepard’s Mercury-Redstone 3—combined.

Nestlé - KitKat - 2013 summer seasonal special flavors

Nestlé in Japan releases unique flavored KitKats seasonally, a tradition that they have been doing for a long time. You can probably find Maccha Kitkat (green tea flavor) outside of Japan. But the variety of the flavors you see here in Japan is a whole different world.

A few months ago, we talked about the fact that Nestlé in Japan makes regional and seasonal KitKats and we heard that news was pretty interesting for those who don’t live in Japan. Today we introduce the 2013 summer flavors – all sold for a limited time only:

– Nestlé KitKat Mini Passion Fruit

– Nestlé KitKat Mini World Assort: an assortment of 2 popular flavors from the past: Orange and Hazelnut

– Also, Nestlé has released 3 products that taste better after putting them in the freezer:

1) Nestlé KitKat Mini Cookies & Cream
2) Nestlé Aero Mini Chocolate Mint
3) Nestlé Crunch Mini Caramel & Vanilla

If you have a chance to visit Japan, get some unique flavored Kitkats. They could be a great and inexpensive Japan “omiyage” (souvenir).

Patriot launches AERO wireless storage device and media hub for mobile data hogs

Patriot launches AERO wireless storage and media hub for mobile data hog

Patriot has just announced a new addition to its collection of storage offerings called the AERO. As the name suggests, the new device is of the wireless variety, which Patriot hopes will garner favor with owners of memory-light tablets and smartphones. To reinforce this ambition, there is of course a companion app — Patriot Connect — for Android and iOS that turns the device into a mobile media hub. With hooks for 3rd party media players, it hopes to overcome any format barriers, and there’s also an internet pass through feature to let multiple users hit the web on the same IP. There are two capacities on offer — 500GB and 1TB — both with WiFi b / g / n, capacity for five connected devices, USB 3.0 and up to six hours of life on the rechargeable battery. The larger of the two will cost $199, dropping to $159 if you don’t need so much storage. Both ship in early April.
