Akitio has showed off a new line of Thunderbolt portable SSDs, the Palm RAID. Coming in both 256GB and 512GB capacities, these ultra-high-speed portable SSDs are equipped with a high-grade aluminum enclosure, a Thunderbolt connector and promise to deliver read and write speeds of up to 713MB/s and 414MB/s, respectively. Akitio is preparing to release their newest portable SSD, the Neutrino Thunderbolt Edition. Coming in 120GB of capacity (Intel 330), this fanless 2.5-inch portable SSD is equipped with a Thunderbolt connection interface, an integrated aluminum heatsink body with excellent heat dissipation and capable of delivering read and write speeds of up to 464MB/s and 311MB/s, respectively.
