Into the heart of CERN: an underground tour of the Large Hadron Collider (video)

DNP

“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

I’ve been to see ALICE — though there was no looking glass to jump through, just a retina scanner and one very long elevator ride down into the earth. I’ve toured a CMS that has nothing to do with online publishing. I’ve even gently laid my body on the most powerful particle accelerator in the world and raised the ire of surrounding engineers in the interest of a good shot. I did all of this at CERN, the international particle physics laboratory located near Geneva, Switzerland. But you probably know it best as the birthplace of the world wide web and home of the Large Hadron Collider. And, yes, it was all exactly like a walking fever dream.

American McGee Gauges Interest For Possible Alice 3 Title

American McGee Gauges Interest For Possible Alice 3 TitleAmerican McGee is a developer whose studio helped to create games like Alice and its sequel, Alice: Madness Returns. Both games were pretty fun and twisted in their own way and if a third Alice title were to be released, we’d definitely love to check it out. However the question is, will there be a third Alice title in the franchise? Taking to Facebook, McGee posed the question to fans, asking if they would be interested in a third Alice game and if a Kickstarter project were to be launched, would they support it? There is the issue about EA relinquishing the rights to the game, so this question posed was more hypothetical if anything.

According to McGee, “I’m trying to gauge interest in case I happen to discuss this with EA during [the Game Developers Conference] in two weeks […] The more interest there is, the more seriously they’ll take the conversation.” So gamers what say you? Any of you guys interested in seeing a third Alice game? We know we are! If you think that Alice 3 deserves to be made without any interference by publishers like EA, then head on over to McGee’s Facebook page and leave your comment of support!
