deviantART member/LEGO enthusiast/alien host Carlos Valero made this life-size LEGO replica of the facehugger from the Alien series. It’s not the scariest replica of the facehugger that I’ve seen, but it is the only LEGO creation that I find repulsive. I never thought I’d be creeped out by LEGO.

Rest in peace Carlos.

I guess we’ll see a LEGO chestburster a few days from now. We need a bigger version of the LEGO Power Loader stat.

How many times have you wanted to reenact that classic scene from Alien (and Spaceballs) where the xenomorph embryo pops out of Kane’s chest and does a little dance around the dinner table? While you might not want to implant one in your body, you can do the next best thing, with the Alien chestburster-in-a-can!

Just like the one in the classic Ridley Scott (and Mel Brooks) flicks, this pre-pubescent alien creature will spring to life, sure to scare the crap out of anyone who dare goes near the can of USCM standard-issue cornbread. Yummy stuff.

Have you ever wanted to have your own Alien embryo preserved in a specimen jar? Sitting on your desk? Of course you do. Who wouldn’t want one? It could be like a fun game where you sit at your desk, never knowing when it is going to hatch and kill you dead.

This amazingly detailed clay modeled Xenomorph embryo was created by Yanchuan111 from Shenyang, China – where people apparently don’t fear Xenomorph embryos like other mortal men.

Whenever I get a chance, I like to dust off my arcade emulator and try to see if I can get any further at Donkey Kong than the first couple of levels. Even after all of these years, the game still kicks my ass every time. But if the game were loaded with aliens and villains from science fiction and fantasy, I’m betting it would be even harder to beat then going up against Kong and his stupid flaming barrels.

That’s exactly what deviantARTist BazNet set out to explore with his series of Donkey Kong levels inspired by classic science fiction and fantasy movies and TV series. I can’t decide which I like the best, but the Alien and Doctor Who ones are among my favorites. I would not want to try and jump over Facehuggers or Daleks. The Adventure Time version is pretty great too, though it needs more Beemo. There are also The Dark Knight Rise, Game of Thrones, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi levels. And while it doesn’t qualify as science fiction or fantasy, Cookie Kong is pretty swell too.
