Ever wonder what the face might look like for that skull-shaped Crystal Head vodka bottle? Well, one Scottish forensic scientist recently found out.
Don’t worry, what you’re looking at isn’t exactly real but actually a full replica of fatty tissue in a human body. Not that it makes it any better because that’s pretty much how fat looks like inside your body. Which, well, oh my god gross. I don’t want a single ounce of this slimy goopy jiggle on my body anymore.
We’ve all seen it: That colorful human body, staring blankly ahead in the doctor’s office, its stomach skin missing and guts exposed. But have you ever really stepped back and wondered what it took to perfect that anatomical diagram?
Because unfortunately movie versions of medical textbooks are all too rare, if you’re cramming for an upcoming exam on the human skeletal system and the last thing you want to do is spend the night reading, this wonderful $32 tome can be turned into an almost six-foot tall paper skeleton. Nothing beats hands-on experience as a learning tool, right?
Artist Jason Freeny returns with his latest anatomical model – this one ruining childhoods for countless little girls. This model of Barbie has been splayed open so we can see all of her guts.
Given the fact that Barbie’s proportions are inhuman, I’m surprised he was able to cram all of her internal organs and skeletal structure inside her oddly-scaled body.
If you’d like to hang this freaky image on your wall, you can grab a print of it over at Jason’s shop.

A funny thing happened in the field of anatomy during the first half of this year. Researchers found a previously unknown human body part. It’s inside the eyeball, and it’s very small. At 15 microns thick, the newly discovered layer of material is so small that even calling it a new body part feels inappropriate. That’s what it is, though. A new body part. Right there in your eye.
“Be the first in your dentist’s office with a plush tooth or the first on your block with a squashy snuggly eyeball.”
We’re just suckers for these super adorable plush toys of innards and body parts by I Heart Guts. An aptly named company, don’t you think?
If Mickey Mouse is really a mouse, then how come he can stand upright? The same question goes for Minnie.
If you’ve ever wondered what Disney’s most famous characters are made up of on the inside, then wonder no more because DeviantArt artist Alessandro Conti did all the thinking and drawing for you. Check out his stylized anatomical drawings of Mickey and the gang and see if the parts agree with science.
This type of thing is kind of hard to unsee, so I wouldn’t recommend showing these to kids because they’ll probably freak out and hate you for it. Either that, or they’ll hate these characters that they used to love so much instead.
There’s Minnie, looking Dainty even with her outer skin peeled off. And take a look at Goofy! I never imagined he’d look this butch without his goofy clothes on.
Last but not least, here’s Pluto. I always thought that Goofy was a dog, too, so I always find it puzzling why he’s upright and given the ability to speak when Pluto can’t. Artistic license, I suppose.

Body Part Bakery: The Walking Bread
Posted in: Today's ChiliZombies are all the rage these days, so it was only a matter of time before us humans would try to get into the flesh-eating action. You know, we always imitate what we see in video games and TV, right? Well at the Body Bakery, you can eat other humans, without actually eating other humans.
Thai artist Kittiwat Unarrom created this series of disturbingly realistic body parts out of bread, decorating them in excruciating detail.
Incredibly, all of the dismembered body parts you see here are completely edible, from the head, to the arms to the torso, right down to the toes.
Lest you think Kittiwat is just jumping on the current zombie trend with his creations, he actually first started making these disgusting delicacies back in 2007.
