There have been quite a few rumors recently about Samsung’s upcoming tablets. Apparently the company had a new lineup of mid-range tablets up its sleeve, the refreshed Galaxy Tab 4, Samsung stylised it as Tab4. Today the refreshed lineup has officially been announced, it comes in 7-, 8-, and 10.1-inch display sizes. Since priority is to keep the price low, specifications are modest at best.

There has been much debate over the possibility of legacy, but popular devices, like the HTC Butterfly, Butterfly S and a few Desire-branded phones receiving Android 4.4 KitKat update. We came to know through a leak last month that the update is on the cards for the original Butterfly. The update has already been rolled out for HTC Butterfly S, and it appears that Kitkat isn’t far off for the original Butterfly. HTC has confirmed that the update is “coming soon.”

The wait is finally over for LG G2 owners who subscribe to Sprint. Today the carrier has finally rolled out the much awaited KitKat update for the smartphone. The Sprint LG G2 Android 4.4.2 update has started rolling out, Sprint has already posted the details about the upcoming update on its website. LG’s “self-healing” flexible smartphone, the G Flex, came with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean pre-installed. Its been quite a long wait for owners of this smartphone, given that late last year Google released Android 4.4 KitKat and its taken a lot of time for the update to reach the G Flex. Good news for Galaxy Note 3 owners on AT&T. The carrier has finally started rolling out the KitKat update for this popular phablet. AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 update should automatically show up on subscribers’ devices. Since the roll out is done in stages, it may take some time before it becomes available for anyone. Though it shouldn’t take more than a few days for the roll out to be complete.

HTC has been in the news a lot these past few days, that’s because the company has finally launched its 2014 flagship, the All New HTC One M8. Its not disappearing from headlines anytime soon. A few weeks back it was rumored that the Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 Android 4.4 update is not going to be released. The reason behind this is believed to be the fact that this smartphone has 1GB RAM, which may not be enough to support the update as well as the accompanying hefty TouchWiz user interface.
