Sony outs a new Walkman W design to sports addicts and even swimmers!

Sony announced today a new update to its Walkman W series with the NWD-W273. Available in Black, Blue and White the NWD-W273 comes only in 4GB and schedule to hit stores in Japan around middle of February. Roughly similar to previous Walkman W series, the NWD-W273 is however now 30% smaller as well as being IPX5 and IPX8 (Waterproof) letting you enjoy music even while swimming! Sony announces the NW-F800 Series, its latest Android based Walkman

Behold Sony’s latest high-end Walkman, the NW-F800 Series! Available in three different flavors and with internal memory ranging from 16 up to 64GB, the NW-F800 is Sony’s answer to Apple’s iPod! Indeed the NW-F800 will come by default with Android 4.0, a Tegra 2 1GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and a nice little 3.5″ WVGA screen.
The NW-F800 will be of course compatible with Google Play and will play, no pun intended, just fine with most applications …
