You don’t have to decorate the entire nursery in geek themes you know. Just a few touches here and there should be enough. In fact an adorable and nerdy mobile is all you need. It is a great way to teach your children about the characters you geek out over.

Etsy artist Drops of Color has just the mobile for you and your little gamer in training. Well, the seller offers several mobiles that are equally awesome. All made by hand with small felt plush characters. The Super Mario Bros. one is completely adorable, but the superhero ones are pretty cool too – and they teach your kids that DC and Marvel heroes can live in harmony.

Each mobile comes with five characters, and you can pick which ones you want. Each mobile is made to order and takes about 8 to 10 weeks to arrive at your doorstep. Be sure to stop by their shop and check out some of the other mobiles for sale.

I have some fond memories from my childhood watching the Captain America series in reruns on television during the summer. I will admit though, Captain America is probably my least favorite of the Avengers and I thought the first Captain America movie was a little too cartoonish compared to the quality of other Marvel superhero films. That doesn’t mean I won’t be going to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier when it hits theaters.

A new teaser trailer for the film has been released this week, showing off cast members Robert Redford, Scarlett Johansson, and Samuel L. Jackson among others. The exact plot for the new movie is still a mystery, but the trailer shows plenty of butt-kicking along with a villain who can catch Captain America’s shield in-flight. Apparently, at some point in the film, Captain America and Black Widow exchange a kiss too.

The movie is set to hit theaters on April 4, 2014. That is assuming it’s not delayed for one reason or another. It’s being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, whose primary experience is in directing TV series, including Arrested Development and Community. Hope they know what they’re doing with a big Marvel SFX blockbuster.

Also, am I the only one that finds Captain America a bit boring compared to the other Avengers?

Check out this amusing cosplay of all of the Avengers assembled into one body, put together by Damon McNeill. I’m not sure if he couldn’t make up his mind or just wanted to shake things up. But either way, the cosplay is pretty awesome and is truly one of a kind.

So you’ve spotted elements of Captain America on the dude’s shirt and shield, Iron Man on the helmet and chest light, Thor with his hammer and hair, the Hulk with his shorts and legs, Hawkeye with his bow, and Nick Fury with the eye patch. That leaves the Black Widow…

Before you think he wasn’t able to figure out a way to incorporate the vivacious female member of the Avengers to his costume, look at his arms more closely.

Yep, that’s right: he’s got the Black Widow’s arms. Sneaky, sneaky.

How is your break room at work? Pretty sucky right? I bet it could use some art. And not that overpriced commercial stuff from some stuffy gallery, or worse yet, so stupid motivational posters. What your break room needs is something like this chalk drawing of Iron Man and Tony Stark looking through his HUD.

This awesome chalk art was spotted by the father of 14-year-old Young-Avenger-Wiccan along with the note “Look at our chalkboard in the break room!”

It’s awesome that it is in a place where it can be appreciated. It’s also awesome that they happened to have a ton of chalk and an amazing artist on staff. Whoever drew this, come forth! You deserve all the credit in the world.

Avengers Assemble! I said Avengers Assemble! Oh, I see you are working on it. Don’t hurry on my account. The world is only doomed. Looking at my watch. Nevermind, I’ll just call the X-Men. These Avengers snail amigurumis are adorable. They are just painfully slow.

Hulk smash? No, Hulk slime! You have all of the Avengers here in soft snail form and looking to cute to do battle with anyone. They are the work of Etsy seller Fallen Designs and will cost you $17-$20(USD) each.

They would look pretty amazing on your desk with your other toys. I would love to see this movie, although the running time would be about two minutes and it would end with the villain stomping these heroes into goo – or worse yet, pouring salt on them.
