Limited Edition Deluxe Doctor Who River Song’s TARDIS Journal would send fans to pick up a pen again

tardis-journalIf you happen to have a flair for words, and love to pen down a prose or two of your own from time to time as inspiration strikes, it might bode you well as a Doctor Who fan to pick up this $79.99 Limited Edition Deluxe Doctor Who River Song’s TARDIS Journal. Yes sir, it might sound out of whack to pay so much money for a regular journal, but in return, you end up with a limited edition, full size replica of River Song’s journal, where it will boast of an embossed, leather-look cover.

Open up the cover, and you will find a cool 440 textured and aged-looking blank pages that simply cannot wait for you to fill it up with ideas of your own. Assuming you end up in a Halloween party, you might want to go as a Doctor Who character, where this TARDIS covered journal would be ideal to help complement a River Song costume. I have got to say, the embossed cover of leather-look material does have a ring of class to it. Do bear in mind that the Limited Edition Deluxe Doctor Who River Song’s TARDIS Journal happens to be a convention exclusive, so as a fully licensed Doctor Who collectible, you might want to move fast before it runs out of stock!

Plug and play… and then party in your dorm. That’s how the kids do it nowadays, with their iPods, iPhones and Android devices connected to virtual libraries of stored and streaming music. But unless you’re rocking an HTC One with BoomSound, the dinky speakers on your daily driver just aren’t going to adequately pump out the late-summer jams. Engadget's back to school guide 2013 digital cameras

You don’t need to pick up a dedicated shooter before you head off to college — your smartphone can likely fill in until you’re able to drop some serious cash on a model that’ll last all four years. Still, you’d certainly be better off with a device that can capture memories at concerts, football games, in the dorm and at parties without hesitation. For that, you’re going to want a camera with serious capabilities, and many don’t come cheap. We’ve sorted our favorites based on model type — there’s something for everyone, and in every price range, too. A point-and-shoot will suit most students just fine, but photography and journalism majors will definitely want to step up to an interchangeable-lens camera, such as a compact mirrorless ILC or a full-size DSLR. Click through for our picks.
