Bean Bag Iron Throne: A Song of Beads and Foam

The Iron Throne in Westeros is not supposed to be comfortable. Those swords that jab you when you sit in it keep you alert, therefore alive for another day. But who wants to poked and prodded by their own throne? Well, now you can have your very own Iron Throne and sit in comfort.

Nerd by Night has turned the Iron Throne into an epic bean bag chair. If you want one like it, you’ll have to make this throne yourself, but that beats going to war and having to pay the iron price, right? To make one, you won’t need any valerian steel, but you’ll need to cut and paint fabric, sew it into place, and stuff it with foam and bean bag beans. When you are finished, you will have a comfortable throne.

You’ll Be Snoring on this Pokémon Snorlax Bean Bag

I’ve never been able to keep up on all the different Pokémon. Somewhere around Pikachu and Squirtle, I lose track. Though, I’m definitely familiar with Snorlax, a big, roly-poly guy who looks like the fattest, laziest Pokémon in all of Kanto. In fact, his abilities include “Thick Fat” and “Gluttony”. I’m not kidding. Now, you can take a nap on his big Poké-belly, courtesy of the Snorlax bean bag chair.

This full-size bean bag chair is handmade by Ashley over at A Geek Boutique. It looks like the perfect place to curl up and count ‘em all (and I’m talking about sheep, not Pokémon). Thankfully, it weighs just a few pounds – way less than the 1014 pounds that an actual Snorlax weighs. If Snorlaxes actually existed, that is.
