Not to sound like an old man or anything, but when I was young you had a mattress and a frame to rest it on. We didn’t need anything fancy. Kids nowadays. Bah. They can sleep on anything they want. Like this Jeep Wrangler.

Etsy seller Jeepbed will sell you a template for $29.95(USD) that provides step-by-step instructions for you to make this bed. It should cost about $250 in materials – plus an ample dose of your time and effort to build one.

Just make sure the brakes are on. And don’t put junior to sleep outdoors near a hill. That could be dangerous.

It looks awesome and I envy the kid who gets to sleep in this fold-out bed. Though I’m wondering if this means that you are sleeping over the moat. Don’t roll out of bed or you might get a surprise.
