BenQ has recently dropped another DLP projector, the MX823ST. Designed for classroom, this 3D-ready short-throw projector provides 1024 x 768 XGA resolution, 3200 ANSI lumens brightness, 13000:1 contrast ratio and up to 6,500 hours of lamp life (SmartEco Mode). It also has a built-in 10W mono speaker and a number of connectivity ports including 2x RBG D-Sub 15pin, Composite, S-Video, HDMI, 2x Stereo Mini Jack, 2x RCA Audio and USB Type A. BenQ Announces TH681 HD and 3D Home Projector

BenQ TH681 HD Home ProjectorBenQ announced on Thursday their planned release of the TH681 Full HD Home Projector. The TH681 boasts a bright display of 3000 lumens for a 1080p resolution picture with a 10,000:1 high contrast ratio. It is also capable of showing 3D media, provided you have a device that will play 3D content and you bring your 3D glasses.

The projector uses Eco-Smart technology to help with power consumption and provides a lamp life of up to 6500 hours when utilizing the Eco-Smart mode. It also comes with all of the standard ports such as HDMI, RGB, Composite, S-Video, Mini-Jack, RCA and USB. It even includes a single 10W speaker if for some reason your not sporting surround sound with your projection.

The BenQ TH681 is planning its availability on March 26th, and pricing is expected to be around $1200 USD although no official pricing for the US has been announced, yet.

This light and compact (1.5kg) projector supports a native resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and provides 700 ANSI lumens brightness, 100,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of LED light source (Eco Mode). What’s more, it also comes with a built-in media player, a 2GB of internal memory, an SD card slot, a USB port, an HDMI port and two built-in 3W stereo speakers with SRS HD. BenQ Enters The Smartphone Market Once Again

Its not like there’s any shortage of players in the global smartphone market. At the top you have Apple and Samsung, who are being trailed by the likes of LG, HTC, Sony and more. There are some manufacturers that are popular in certain regions, such as Lenovo, ZTE, Xiaomi etc. Taiwanese manufacturer BenQ, known for its monitors and peripherals, said late last year that it won’t be entering the smartphone market again, but it clearly changed its mind. BenQ has launched two new smartphones this month, the F3 and A3.

The BenQ F3 and A3 are powered by MediaTek MT6589 and Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225Q 1.2Ghz processors respectively, with a 4.6inch 960×540 IPS display, 4GB of onboard storage with option to expand externally using microSD cards, 1GB RAM, and a 2 megapixel front camera. The F3 has a 2,100mAh and the A3 has a 2,000mAh battery, apart from a f/2.2 13 megapixel rear camera with HDR and 8 megapixel rear camera, respectively. Off contract, the BenQ F3 retailers for roughly $270 in Taiwan, whereas the A3 will cost around $200 when it comes out later this month.
