BenQ is set to ship their newest mini projector, the Joybee GP3. Adopting the DLP display technology, this palm-sized projector provides 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution, 300 ANSI lumens brightness, 10,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). What’s more, it also comes with a built-in iPhone/iPod docking station mounted on the top, an SD card slot, ‘Stream to Me’ capabilities and 2x 2W stereo speakers with SRS WOW HD technology. Here we have another upcoming gaming monitor from BenQ, the XL2720T. Supporting NVIDIA’s 3D Vision 2 technology, this new 27-inch LED-backlight monitor (120Hz panel) provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 160/170 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with an adjustable stand and has mini D-Sub, DVI-D, 2x HDMI, DisplayPort and 3-port USB hub. The XL2720T will go on sale from April 27th for 59,800 Yen (about $598). BenQ hits back with a new DLP projector for the mass market, the MW767. Designed for classrooms and conference rooms, MW767 provides 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution, 4200 ANSI lumens brightness, 13,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3,500 hours of lamp life (SmartEco Mode). It also comes with a built-in 20W mono speaker and a number of connectivity ports including 2x D-Sub, HDMI, Composite, S-Video, 2x Stereo Mini Jack, RCA, Microphone Jack and USB Type A. BenQ will begin shipping their latest Full HD monitor ‘GW2760HS’ in April. Announced back in December, this slim 27-inch VA LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 3000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 4ms GTG response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 1W speakers and has D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectors. The GW2760HS will retail for 269 Euro (about $346). [BenQ]

If you’re the sort of person who takes their gaming very seriously, then you’re probably looking for ways  to gain an advantage over the competition, whether it be faster load times, higher DPI mice, better sound systems, or even a monitor with a faster response time. If a monitor is what you’re after than BenQ might have something for you in the form of the XL2720T, a monitor which was featured during the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship Season 7 event, which means that this is a monitor that you might be able to take seriously.

The XL2720T will come with specs such as a 27” display with a 120hz refresh rate, and even a 1ms response time which we guess is crucial for the hardcore gamer. This monitor is also expected to share some features with BenQ’s RL2455HM monitor, such as the Black eQualizer that adjusts brightness without overexposing white levels, Smart Scaling, along with FPS modes that allows the monitor to be optimally adjusted for games such as Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source respectively. The monitor is also certified for NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 with LED backlighting, a 12 million:1 contrast ration and is available in Europe for €370. Those living stateside can expect to pick it up in the near future for around $400.
