Bioshock Infinite Audio Mode For Pulse Elite Edition Headset

Bioshock Infinite Audio Mode For Pulse Elite Edition HeadsetBioshock Infinite is definitely a piece of hardware that is looked forward to by many tomorrow, thanks to world-acclaimed studio Irrational Games releasing said title, so it makes perfect sense to usher in such an occasion with something out of the ordinary, being pulled out of the rabbit’s hat, so to speak. Irrational Games has partnered with Sony to create a specially crafted audio experience that is exclusive to PlayStation, where a new audio mode for the PULSE-Elite Edition Headset was specially designed just for BioShock Infinite. Of course, does this mean gamers will have to fork out even more money for such an event? Actually, the answer is a resounding “No!”, where it will be free.

The custom audio mode was mooted by Irrational Games to elevate the dark world of BioShock Infinite to a totally new level, delivering a richer gameplay experience along the way, resulting in a sound profile which allows players to feel gunshots as well as explosions in a far more dynamic and powerful manner. Are your ears tingling yet?

BioShock Infinite Leaks Onto Torrent Sites Prior To March 26 Launch

BioShock Infinite Leaks Onto Torrent Sites Prior To March 26 Launch

BioShock Infinite has been a long-awaited title for fans of the original BioShock as it brings back its legendary developer Irrational Games to create a brand-new game set within the BioShock world. The game is expected to be in the hands of gamers on March 26, but apparently the game has been leaked onto torrent sites earlier this week.

A number of forum members across multiple sites have taken to the Internet to warn their fellow BioShock Infinite fans that the PS3 version of the game has been leaked onto torrent sites. Reports are saying DUPLEX are responsible for the leaked version of BioShock Infinite to be widely distributed. (more…)

BioShock Infinite 60-Second TV Commercial Is Full Of CGI Awesome

The closer we get to March 26, the harder it is for us to not have BioShock Infinite on the brain. We’ve seen some great content coming from Irrational Games over the past few months which highlight Columbia’s Impending Doom, Elizabeth possibly being a person who should be feared as well as Booker’s motives not starting out to be as honest as we were lead to believe. Last night, the first official 60-second TV commercial spot for BioShock Infinite debuted, and it’s as awesome as you probably expect it to be.

BioShock Infinite’s 60-second TV commercial is a great mix of action and music with a little bit of the supernatural mixed in there for good measure. Unfortunately, as the commercial suggests at its opening, it’s all CGI, but that doesn’t make it any less awesome, especially considering the in-game footage has always looked fantastic to us.

If you have yet to pre-order your copy of BioShock Infinite, even after hearing about its nifty pre-order bonuses and its premium and Ultimate Songbird editions were announced, we think now would be a good time for you to get your order in as the game looks to be one that shouldn’t be missed.

BioShock Infinite ‘False Shepard’ Trailer Shows Booker’s Ulterior Motives

Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt. That was the deal.

That’s the opening line of BioShock Infinite’s “False Shepard” trailer which was released yesterday. Judging by the opening of the video, it seems Booker DeWitt may not be the hero we all expected him to be as he may have his own ulterior motives as to why he’s making a trip to Columbia. We’re assuming the “girl” he’s supposed to bring to the people he owes money to is Elizabeth, and we’re certainly curious to see what Booker does once he finds her.

Not only does the False Shepard trailer highlight more of Booker’s backstory, but its also filled with some in-game action which finally features one of the game’s most iconic henchmen, the Handyman. We’re not entirely sure how he functions, but we do know every encounter Booker has with him will probably result in a tough battle.

BioShock Infinite, which the trailer so graciously reminds us, will be released in just a little over a week on March 26.

BioShock Infinite Season Pass to Offer Discounted DLC Packs

Of all the games are launching early in 2013, BioShock Infinite is certainly one of the most anticipated. The game will see players exploring the floating city of Columbia and fighting against baddies as they strive to rescue the mysterious time-and-space-tearing Elizabeth. The game will launch on March 26, which is only a few weeks away now. This game was originally expected to launch last year but was delayed.

Irrational and 2K Games have now announced that along with the launch of the video game on March 26 will also come the launch of a Season Pass that will get players all three add-on content packs currently in development for one low price.

bsi

The Season Pass will sell for $19.99(USD) for PS3 and PC gamers, while Xbox 360 gamers will pay 1600 Microsoft Points ($20). Buying the Season Pass will save customers about 30% compared to buying the add-on packs individually.

Gamers who pre-order the Season Pass will also get four pieces of exclusive gear, a machine gun damage upgrade, a pistol damage upgrade, gold skin for both weapons, and five infusion bottles. Those infusion bottles help players increase health, shield duration, and vigors.

New BioShock Infinite Trailer Wants Us To Fear Elizabeth

The last action-packed trailer for BioShock Infinite was released a few weeks ago, and today, Irrational Games has released a brand-new gameplay trailer which is titled “Lamb of Columbia.”

The Lamb of Columbia trailer focuses on both Elizabeth and Booker as we learn more about the mysterious damsel in distress, which possibly makes her Booker’s biggest threat in Columbia. We catch a glimpse of Elizabeth’s dimension-bending powers, which continues to confuse the heck out of us as to what exactly is going on with her. (more…)

BioShock Infinite Trailer Hints At Columbia’s Impending Doom

We’ll be completely honest with you. We’ve had some lengthy debates on whether or not the previously released trailer for BioShock Infinite was any good. Some of us could appreciate the 1970s film-strip video style, while others think it was complete rubbish. If you weren’t a fan of the last trailer and prefer a more “traditional” trailer filled with action, suspense and hints into a game’s story, then you’ll be happy with the trailer Irrational Games released today.

BioShock Infinite’s “City in the Sky” trailer yet again introduces the player to the floating city of Columbia. You’ll witness people bending fire and electricity to their will and a mysterious girl who you’ll need to save.

The trailer shows another hint at a Elizabeth’s possible ability to bend time and space as one part of the trailer shows her opening what looks to be a portal. Inside of the portal is a black & white image of Paris, although it’s still unsure at this time what hidden power Elizabeth is capable of. We guess we’ll have to wait and see when BioShock Infinite is released on March 26.
