Sharp is releasing the blu-ray disk recorder “AQUOS Blu-ray BD-SP1000″ with “Sky Perfect TV Premium” tuner built-in on June 29. Just by connecting it to a TV, you will be able to start watching and recording more than 170 channels.

“Smartphone Remote Yoyaku (timer recording)” function could be very useful. Once you install the dedicated application to your smartphone, you can set recording times when outside the home.

Recorded programming can also be wirelessly sent to smartphones for mobile viewing, and the unit can be easily controlled wirelessly through your smartphone.

Sharp is releasing 2 models of its new Blu-ray disk recorder “AQUOS Blu-ray”: BD-W1300 (1TB), BD-W2300 (2TB) on May 29. They feature the “Visual Home Menu” function that displays letters and illustrations in a bigger size for easy operation.

It allows you to record a program while you are watching another recoded/on-air program, to search and record a program remotely with your smartphone, to forward a recorded program wirelessly to your smart phone, or to record 2 programs at the same time with its built-in double tuners.
