Bose unveils SoundLink Air and SoundLink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker II

If you were in the market for a new set of speakers, Bose has unveiled two – the SoundLink Air and the SoundLink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker II. The SoundLink Air is aimed at iOS users exclusively and will support the AirPlay standard. This allows users to stream music over WiFi connections to the speaker without the need to plug it in or for cables. Bose has also revealed that multiple SoundLink Air devices can be linked together so that users can stream music through the entire house or area. Priced at $350, users also have the option to purchase a rechargeable battery for $90.

Next is the SoundLink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker II which has been designed for both iOS and Android devices. As its name has implied, this speaker will pair with your mobile device via Bluetooth and is reportedly small and light enough to carry with one hand and should fit nicely into a backpack. The Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker II is priced at $300, although if you want a fancier version with a leather option, it will cost you $350 instead.
