X9 Golf Trolley Follows You Around Like an Obedient Puppy

Too lazy to carry your clubs, but not so lazy that you want to take a cart? The X9 Follow is a Bluetooth-connected electric golf trolley designed and created by Stewart Golf. It is a compact and foldable trolley, that unfolds in one smooth movement. Just unfold it for use, open its front cover, connect the lightweight lithium-ion battery and put the cover on. Then, let it follow you around the course.

Just place the Bluetooth handset on your back pocket or belt and begin walking, the X9 Follow will follow behind you until you stop. Of course, you’ll need to stop it in a spot where it won’t block your shot.

The X9 Follow will be available in the UK in June 2014 for £1499 (~$2500 USD). Looks like the robots have stolen yet another human job, putting caddies out of work.

Station offers a modern day caddy for your devices

In this day and age, it is not surprising to hear of someone carrying a couple of smartphones around, not to mention a tablet and other kinds of different hardware. The thing is, when you get back home after a long and gruelling day outside, there must be a place where you can “park” all of your devices in an orderly manner, no? Some folks might just dump everything on a basket that is placed on the table, others could not care less and leave the devices still in the coat pockets, but for folks who happen to have a neat streak in them, a desk caddy might sound like a good idea. No, I am not referring to you hunting down one of them little pixies and asking her to be your personal caddy ala golf, but rather, the Station caddy which has been perfectly crafted and designed from bamboo, delivering a modern and minimalist design.

The Station caddy intends to be the focal point of any desk or countertop, where it will do its job by stashing away your most important day-to-day items while adding a dash of class and elegance. Needless to say, the Station does bring back with it the old school desk caddy look, although it has kept up with the times by throwing in a modern twist, enabling an additional space for you to proudly place your smartphone. This works even better if you so happen to have the kind of dough to drop for the likes of a Vertu handset, but otherwise, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 would do just fine.

The Station caddy was carefully constructed in smooth bamboo to have enough space to house most of the modern day smartphones out there, including the hugely popular iPhone, the Samsung Galaxy series and other Android-powered devices. This makes it easier for you to change your phone without having to fork out more money for a new caddy. The Station’s asking price stands at $39.99 a pop, where shipping will commence in the middle of May onwards.

Grabit Robot Not Really a Robot, But Does Really Grab Things

While there are literally a million pen and toothbrush caddies out there, most of them are pretty boring if you ask me. If you’re looking for a fun way to keep your stick-like objects organized, then you might want to pick up the Grabit Robot.

Contrary to its name, this little guy isn’t an actual robot, but he sure looks like one, and that’s good enough in my book. Designed by Leo and Angie Fajardo of Trinkits, this multipurpose holder has two grippy hands which are perfect for holding on to toothbrushes, pens, pencils, and other tall items. Grabit is made of sturdy ABS plastic and measures about 5-inches-tall.

The Grabit Robot is currently raising funds for production over on Kickstarter, and will ship in five colors: bright blue, mango, white, bright red, and lime green. The first 100 contributors can grab a Grabit for $25(USD), while others can get in on the action for $30. The project needs just $7000 by April 17 to go into production, so it should have no problem reaching that goal.

Officeoriginair Table Island Organizer: You Own Private Mountain Island

My desk is pretty messy. I’m not ashamed to admit it, but maybe if I had a desk organizer like this one from Officeoriginair, I’d be more tidy. Its minimalist design is definitely something attractive and distinctive for any desk.

The Table Island was designed by the Netherlands-based Officeoriginair for Royal VKB, and it’s basically an office tray that’s made from cork. It’s designed to hold all of your daily items, from your phone, sunglasses, desktop accessories and even your tablet. The different organizing tabs are at different heights, making it look like a mountainous landscape.

You can get your own Table Island for €39.95 (~$50 USD) from Royal VKB. It looks like there might be a black version, but I don’t see it listed for sale anywhere.
