Wear This, Get Slim: Caffeine-Infused Clothing

When it comes to weight loss, most experts would say that exercise and a good diet are the keys to shedding those extra pounds. Unfortunately, people have a hundred and one reasons why they can’t stop eating this, or why they can’t get on this particular workout routine. Well, complaining about being out of shape won’t help you any. But complaining while wearing this caffeine-infused top might.

Dubbed as the “Caffeine-Infused Slimming Tank Top,” the tank’s stretchy fabric is infused with micronized caffeine and brown algae. According to its product page, the former is to stimulate lipolysis, which is the natural breakdown of stored fats, while the latter is to moisturize and smooth its wearer’s skin.

Sounds pretty unscientific, but hey, it could work. At the very least, it should give you a little buzz.

The caffeinated tank top is available from Hammacher Schlemmer online for $85(USD). There’s also a set of matching body shorts for $70.

Sprayable Energy Allows You To Absorb Caffeine Through Your Skin

There’s no denying we all need a boost of energy every so often to get us through our work day or night. Caffeine seems to be the drug of choice for the majority of people who need that extra boost, which can be ingested in a number of ways, such as drinking coffee, red bull or by even chewing gum. Caffeine Spray Gives You Energy with a Spritz

Most energy drinks and supplements only set you up for the inevitable crash. If you’re looking for an instant burst of energy without the usual disadvantages, then you might want to check out Sprayable Energy.

    Sprayable Caffeine

It’s a spray that gives you a dose of caffeine that’s absorbed through your skin so you can get that much-needed boost. According to the spray’s creators, it’s the world’s first topical energy spray and it’s a whole lot better than most other energy products because it doesn’t require you to ingest drinks filled with ingredients other than caffeine.

Its makers claim that since the caffeine is sprayed on, it enters your system gradually so you won’t get the usual energy shock (and crash) that come with using energy products.

Sprayable Energy is currently up for funding on Indiegogo, where a minimum pledge of $15(USD) will get you a single container that should last about 2 to 3 weeks. Just don’t mix it up with your pepper spray.

How Much Caffeine Are You Actually Getting in That Cup of Coffee?

How Much Caffeine Are You Actually Getting in That Cup of Coffee?

Confession: I don’t drink coffee. I know next to nothing about what makes a good cup of brown flavored water other than it involving sniper precision measurements, calculus-level math, tools that are fit for a serial killer, forearms that would make Popeye jealous and a full beard. What I DO know is that more is always greater than less. So here’s a pretty graph showing which coffee shops give you the most caffeine in your coffee.

Caffeinated Baking Sugar Jacks Up Your Food a Notch

A whole host of food has been treated with the caffeinated effect, from popcorn and bacon to candy and gum. The newest one is baking sugar, which allows you to literally jack up the foodstuff that leaves your oven.

    Caffeinated Granulated Sugar

From pancakes and cookies to cakes and muffins, amping up any dessert is possible. If you need an extra kick, then pair these baked goods with coffee and you’re guaranteed to stay awake all through the night (and even into the morning.)

Each teaspoon of Jacked Up Sugar contains 137 mg of caffeine. For your reference, a 16 oz. coffee from Dunkin Donuts has between 143-206 mg of caffeine, so I don’t think you’ll need to much of this stuff to perk up your day.

A 40 oz. bag of Jacked Up Sugar is priced at $15(USD).
