This is a Public Service Announcement: If you have warm beer (or may be receiving warm beer during the game today), you should read this post we originally ran two years ago.
Is there anything worse than being at a party and having someone steal your drink? Sure! Taking a long swigg on a can only to realize it isn’t yours. But now you can avoid both situations with this keychain-sized stamp that lets you brand an aluminum can with a permanent message, leaving no debate as to its ownership.
Here’s a tip you should file away in your folder for zombie apocalypse preparation and in your brain for future conversations for whoa, I didn’t know it was that easy: opening a can without a can opener. All it takes is some abrasive concrete rubbing of the can’s top and a firm squeeze of the can’s body. As long as you don’t slice your finger when the can opens, you could eat some tasty everlasting goop anytime you want.
SYNC by 50 on-ear wireless headphones now feature Bluetooth 4.0, aptX support
Posted in: Today's ChiliIt’s been a busy month for SMS Audio and Mr. Jackson. After launching new Street by 50 headphones and wireless speakers, they’re now introducing the first pair of SYNC by 50 cans that connect over Bluetooth 4.0 and have aptX support. The latest wireless headphones to come out of 50 Cent’s audio labs have an on-ear, foldable design and 40mm custom drivers. Play / pause, next track and volume controls are built into an earpiece, while a microphone comes with the detachable cable. SMS Audio claims you can listen to Get Rich or Die Tryin’ for up to 12 hours on the hardware before you need to juice them up via the microUSB port. Those who’d like to learn more don’t have to find 50 in the club — head past the break for the press release or visit the source, where the gear is available for $230 per pair.

Mario Sculpture Made out of Canned Food: Not One Filled with Cream of Mushroom Soup
Posted in: Today's ChiliYes we CAN! Most stores stack their food in the same old boring way, but there are some stores or should I say some people, that rise above the status quo and go above and beyond the call of duty – like the guys who set up Canstruction at the SouthCentre Mall in Calgary, Canada.
Obviously guys working on this exhibit really love a good game of Mario. Is it wrong that I want to see a Koopa shell knock this awesome sculpture down? Or see Toad’s Kart barrel into it? I hope someone topples this thing at the end of the exhibit. Is that mean? it’s not like the cans aren’t going to go to a good cause when they fall over – with all the canned goods going to the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank.
Anyway, it’s pretty awesome what some geeks can do with a few cans and a dream.

Denon is avoiding all the CES madness by revealing a whole bevy of new headphones today for two of its most popular lines. And they’re all significantly cheaper than the models announced last year by at least $100. More »
Everyone loves R2-D2, right? There’s really no reason not to – even if he is made out of cans. That’s right, R2-D2 has been built out a bunch of cans of what look to be sweet corn, Star-Kist tuna and tins of sardines on his chest. Mmm… just what droids like to eat.
This giant R2-D2 can sculpture was part of this year’s San Francisco Canstruction exhibit, which took place at One Market in San Francisco. C-3PO was nowhere to be found, but it’s possible that R2 ran off without him as he’s been known to do.
In addition to everyone’s favorite little droid, the exhibit included a giant shark made out of cans, tributes to Inception and UP and and what appears to be a red Death Star.

Razer unveils its own BlackShark, black and green version ships next month for $120
Posted in: Today's ChiliLove the look of Razer’s Battlefield 3-branded BlackShark headset that we laid our peepers on back at E3? Don’t want to commit yourself exclusively to one title? Good news: the West Coast outfit has just announced a variant that lacks any game specifics and is clothed in the signature black and green hues. You can expect a unit that wears the same, aviator-inspired stylings as the original — right down to the leatherette-sealed earcups, detachable boom microphone and splitter adapter cable. Sound good? Well, the unit will arrive sometime in September ready to dock your wallet $119.99. For a closer look or a bit more info, consult the gallery below and full PR after the break.
