AREA has just unveiled their newest USB 3.0 portable HDD case, the SD-S253U3-BB. Adopting a one-touch lock system (does not require a screw assembly), the case has a USB 3.0 connection interface and can house a single 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD. Featuring a tray-less design, this aluminum enclosure comes with a front-placed I/O panel with 2x USB 3.0 ports and a 3-speed fan controller, a built-in 80mm rear cooling fan and can house a total of four 3.5-inch SATA 6.0 Gbps HDDs, while only consuming three 5.25-inch device bays.
