Opticians: Smartphone Overuse Might Be ‘Hazardous’ To Your EyesI suppose it makes perfect sense – if you were to push parts of your body to the extreme or over the edge, there is bound to be pain, discomfort or injury which will happen, such as when you overexercise, or did not perform a proper warm up before exerting yourself in some physical activity. Your eyes are sensitive organs, and opticians have already shared their concern that one’s eyes could be over-exposed to light from modern day devices such as smartphones and tablets, which in turn could develop into long term eye problems.

Not only that, the main app that this particular contact of yours happens to be WhatsApp, so much so that you’re sick and tired of hearing the incoming message alert of WhatsApp. Well, that particular person could actually be suffering from a disease known as “WhatsAppitis”. We’re not making this up for sure, as The Lancet, one of the most well respected medical journals in the world, has reported on the diagnosis of this disease in a 34-year-old doctor who actually spent six hours on Christmas Eve sending WhatsApp messages to her friends and family.

    Sprint’s Response To T-Mobile’s Uncarrier Revealed In Leaked Photo

    Sprints Response To T Mobiles Uncarrier Revealed In Leaked PhotoEarlier this year, T-Mobile unveiled their latest Uncarrier plan in which the company is willing to pay the early termination fees of their customers in order to make them switch to the carrier. This offer is valued up to $650 which is $200 more than AT&T’s own offer, but now it looks like Sprint could be taking a page out of T-Mobile’s book.

    Thanks to a recently leaked photo on the S4GRU forum, it has been revealed that starting on the 4th of April, Sprint will be launching their own plan in which they will be paying customers up to $650 to switch to the carrier.     Galaxy S5 Versus iPhone 5s In Biometrics Test

    Biometric security appears to be one of the new trends in the mobile industry. Granted it isn’t exactly new per se, but with Apple’s introduction of Touch ID in the iPhone 5s, safe to say that it managed to generate a fair amount of interest from the competition, like Samsung and the Galaxy S5 handset.

    During our hands-on review of the Samsung Galaxy S5, we didn’t really get a lot of time to test the fingerprint scanner too thoroughly, but the demonstrations were pretty convincing. However for those who are wondering how the sensor fares compared to the iPhone 5s’ Touch ID, YouTuber Tanner Marsh has recently released a video comparing both phones’ fingerprint scanners. (more…)
