In Denmark there is a company known as Lumigon. The company isn’t exactly a forerunner when it comes to creating mobile phones, although in the past they have attempted their hands at creating a luxury Android smartphone known as the Lumigon T2.

Fast forward a couple of years, it looks like the company will be trying their hand again, this time with the Lumigon T2 HD, which we guess kind of reveals some of its specs in its name alone. (more…)

Nokia has taken to naming their updates to the Windows Phone platform based on color. The last update was called the “Black” update, and according to recent rumors, it has been suggested that the upcoming update could be known as “Blue”, or could it?

According to a recent screenshot allegedly belonging to that of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 630 in China, it seems that the upcoming update could be getting a different type of color name instead, and it’s a very specific one at that. (more…)

It does seem as though it is trendy for smartphone manufacturers to roll out a “mini” version of a model that is doing well on the market, flagships included. HTC is one of those, where despite being beleaguered due to poor sales figures in comparison to the likes of Samsung, Motorola, Apple and LG among others, they still have the capability to churn out good smartphones, including the HTC One. Heck, the HTC One (M7) did have its smaller sidekick, the HTC One mini, and this time around, it seems as though the recently introduced HTC One (M8) too, would be on the receiving end of a HTC One (M8) mini.

If you’re feeling the blues because of the gloomy weather, then perhaps the right kind of music might help you get back in your groove, or at least this is what Songza intends to do. Songza, being an online music streaming service, is “smart” enough to know what the current weather is like after partnering with The Weather Company, allowing it to suggest music that is based on the weather at the moment, including rain, snow, sunny, or windy.

With the release of iOS 7.1, performance monitoring service, Crittercism, found that it was the most stable iOS build to date, with a crash rate of just under 1.6%. This is compared to previous iOS builds who have had a crash rate of over 2%. That’s pretty good, right? Sure, but now that Crittercism has released the numbers for Android, things certainly don’t look so good anymore.

According to the latest figures by Crittercism, they have found that Android in general has been more stable compared to iOS. According to their findings, app crashes on Android 2.3 Gingerbread was at 1.7%, a number which Apple has only recently managed to beat. (more…)
