The company has been hemorrhaging cash for the past few years, and with device sales not expected to recover anytime soon, it has to look towards other options. Ever since BlackBerry Messenger was opened up to other platforms, its user base has swelled to over 85 million. The company now looks to cash in on that. Its banking on the popularity of stickers, and will also offer brands the opportunity to sponsor posts in BBM channels.

While the whole world is more or less thrilled with the announcement of the HTC One 2014 (aka HTC M8) with us having already taken it out for a spin, one ought to take note that the HTC One 2014 is not the only thing that is happening today to a HTC branded device. In fact, HTC executive Mohammad Versi took to Twitter to reveal that AT&T in the US has already approved the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for its version of the HTC One mini smartphone.

Say what you like against the Nokia Asha 230, but a fact remains a fact – this happens to be Nokia’s most affordable touchscreen phone to date. Last month the Samsung Galaxy S5 was finally made official. At Mobile World Congress 2014, Samsung took the wraps off of its new flagship smartphone. It will be released in more than 100 countries around the world come April 11th. The company has a penchant of launching several variants of its flagship devices. Its expected to stick with that this time around as well. Rumors about a Galaxy S5 Active have already started circulating, with the latest claiming that the variant will be headed to AT&T and Sprint, ”among other carriers.”

The last couple of months have been great for Android fans. Anticipating was running high as both Samsung and HTC were due to unveil their 2014 flagships.
