D-Link DIR-510L WiFi AC750 Travel Router / Charger

D Link DIR 510L WiFi AC750 Travel Router / Charger[CES 2014] With the explosion of smart devices connecting over WiFi, having travel routers have gone from being a superfluous element to being money-saving objects. Since many hotels charge “per device”, I have seen quite a few people get into situations where they got charged separately for the laptop, smartphone and tablet in the same room. The D-Link WiFi AC750 has been created exactly to avoid these types of situations by letting you share an internet connection (3G, WiFi or Ethernet) with all your devices. (more…)

Fujifilm FinePix S8600 Is An Affordable Compact Camera[CES 2014] Smartphones are ideal to take photos with since we carry them with us all the time, not to mention that for the most part, most smartphones are compact in size, making them easy to slip into the pocket too. However using our smartphone for photos can be draining on its battery, not to mention dedicated cameras usually have more functions and have the ability to snap better quality images too, which is why if you’re after something slim and compact, the Fujifilm FinePix S8600 could be the camera you’re after, and with it priced at $229.95, it certainly is pretty affordable too.

Fujifilm FinePix S1 Is World’s First Weather Resistant Super Zoom Bridge Camera[CES 2014] While most of us might think of cameras as devices used to capture moments and to snap photos of our food, there are professionals out there who use cameras to document events, such as nature, wars, natural disasters, and etc. Those professionals typically require cameras that are rugged and can resist the elements, such as water, which is why if you’re after such a camera, Fujifilm has announced the FinePix S1, which they are calling the world’s first “weather resistant” super zoom bridge camera that is able to withstand both rain and dust.

Samsung’s CES Banners Confirm Galaxy Note Pro And Galaxy Tab Pro

Samsungs CES Banners Confirm Galaxy Note Pro And Galaxy Tab ProIs Samsung going to unveil the Galaxy Note Pro and the Galaxy Tab Pro at CES 2014? Leaked benchmarks and rumors certainly seem to suggest so, but now we have confirmation, thanks to Samsung who might have put up their banner a little earlier than expected. The folks at Engadget have spotted a banner that Samsung had recently put up ahead of their announcement at CES 2014 which basically confirms that the South Korea tech giant will be making tablet-related announcements at their upcoming CES 2014 event. As you can see in the image above, the upcoming announcements will be related to both the Galaxy Note Pro and the Galaxy Tab Pro.

As it stands we have only heard rumors of both devices and have seen leaked benchmarks, and while the benchmarks do serve as pretty solid evidence, we still hold a degree of skepticism due to the fact that they aren’t official. Presumably Samsung will make the official announcement soon but for now what we have learnt is that the Galaxy Tab Pro will come in 8.4” and 10.1” sizes, while the Galaxy Note Pro will sport a larger 12.2” display, easily making it Samsung’s largest tablet to date. Either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for Samsung’s announcement, so be sure to check back with us later for the official details!

Fujifilm FinePix S9400W/S9200 Announced[CES 2014] Taking photos in the moment can be difficult unless you have your camera already in hand and happen to be quick enough to snap a photo before the moment has passed. Unfortunately for the most part, smartphones, tablets, and even dedicated cameras need time to start up the camera system which means that by the time we want to snap an image, the moment has passed. If you’re looking for a camera that will be able to start up quickly, you might be interested in Fujifilm’s FinePix S9400W and S9200. According to Fujifilm, both cameras are able to start up in just 1 second, and will have an autofocus time of 0.3 seconds and will be ready to take the next shot in 0.5 seconds, allowing photographers to fire off a series of snaps with little downtime.
