Cinnabon Air Fresheners Exist

No, Americans are not fatter than ever. It’s not like we need our homes to smell like food. It’s not like we need Cinnabon Air Fresheners or anything… Wait. What? Yes, they actually exist, presumably to make us so hungry that we get in the car on a mission to find some.

Air Wick’s Cinnabon-scented air fresheners will fill your home with the scent of “one-of-a-kind cinnamon and cream cheese frosting that make Cinnabon cinnamon rolls so unforgettable.” There goes your diet right? I don’t know about you, but I don’t need spray can to make me crave delicious junk food. I want that all on my own.

However, if you have to make your home smell like a bakery – without baking these – now you know that this is a thing.

Cinnamon Bun Soaps Look Way Too Real

While I love cinnamon buns as much as the next guy, I have to say that I’d be sorely disappointed if I bit into one of these pastries. You see, what you’re looking at here isn’t a cinnamon bun at all. It’s an insanely accurate replica of a cinnamon bun, made from soap.

They’re even made with actual cinnamon to give them that authentic scent. Just don’t try to eat one, unless you want to fill your mouth with moisturizing vegan soap. Yuck. These detailed cinnamon bun soaps are made by Aubrey Elizabeth Apothecary, and are sure to fool even the most avid of pastry connoisseurs.

They sell for $6.75(USD) for a set of two, which is actually cheaper than getting two Cinnabons – though much less tasty. And when you’re done not eating these, you can find a number of other deceptive food soaps over on Aubrey’s Etsy shop, including such delights as gummy bear, and bacon and egg soap.

I guess this is one surefire way to lose weight, right?

Fedora 18 Spherical Cow brings Linux fans a taste of Cinnamon, new installer

Fedora 18 Spherical Cow brings Linux fans a taste of Cinnamon, new installer

Fedora’s Linux distribution may be competing with Ubuntu for the title of silliest update name, but that doesn’t diminish the impact of what are often significant revisions. See the just-launched Fedora 18 as an example: while it’s called Spherical Cow, it introduces both a simpler installer to replace an aging predecessor as well as the option of using the Gnome 3-based Cinnamon desktop we recently saw in Linux Mint 13. There’s also FedFS, a file system that provides unity between multiple file servers, and newer versions of both Sugar and XFCE for those who prefer different interfaces. If these and many under-the-hood updates can overcome the giggling over rounded bovines, Fedora 18’s download and release notes are ready at the source links.
