macbook air best buy sale 640x384 Best Buy Discounts MacBook Air Starting At $799 Today And Tomorrow

If you’ve ever had the pleasure to attend a press event or convention, you’ll know us journalists love a good Mac, especially the MacBook. That’s why when we heard Best Buy was selling the MacBook Air for $200 less than the MSRP, we immediately thought you should know in case you’re planning on buying one in the near future.

Best Buy will be running a Winter Doorbuster sale today and tomorrow both in-store and online where you’ll be able to pick up some HDTVs, a DROID RAZR M and a gift card when you purchase an iPod Nano. But one item that instantly made us giddy was the MacBook Air sale they’re having as Best Buy will knock off $200 off your Macbook Air order.

Sure – there could possibly be a refresh for both the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro this June, but when you consider this year’s MacBook Air model is already an impressive laptop with its Intel Core i5 processor with Ivy Bridge, we will completely be OK with your purchase this weekend, especially if it’s a planned Valentine’s Day present for your significant other. I mean, a ring would be much better, but a laptop says “I Love You,” too. I guess.

WindowsAndroid Runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich On Your Computer

win ics WindowsAndroid Runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich On Your ComputerHave you ever had a mind to run Android apps not on your smartphone, but on your PC instead? Well, that is made possible thanks to a spanking new app that is called WindowsAndroid, where it more or less will enable the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform to function on Windows just as though it was a native Windows app. The moment WindowsAndroid is installed, you are able to take advantage of various features such as the Web browser, gallery and other included apps. Heck, if you are diligent enough to pay your dues, so to speak, you can even opt to load and run additional third-party Android apps.

Of course, this is not the first time that Windows computers run Android apps as the past has seen software from BlueStacks that does something similar, and assuming you insert an FXI Cotton Candy any-screen PC into your computer, the same somewhat happens, too. Thing is, WindowsAndroid intends to differentiate itself from the rest of the pack by offering the full Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich experience sans additional software or hardware.

Latest Chrome For Android Beta Offers Easy WebGL Support

chrome gl Latest Chrome For Android Beta Offers Easy WebGL Support Google has ensured that the latest Chrome for Android beta will remain in step with the times, where the Internet search giant had always done a pretty bang up job in ensuring both its desktop and Android browsers remain closely connected, and offering new features to its mobile app frequently so that the more popular Web technologies will see action even when you are on the move. Well, Google has enabled easy WebGL support at long last, so that hardware accelerated graphics and animations will be able to see action in the mobile browser .

WebGL has seen support on the Android platform to date in a range of number of official as well as unofficial workarounds, but today’s beta release does not require you to jump through any kinds of technical hoops. Instead, Google makes life a whole lot easier as all you need to do is select the toggle within the browser which will allow it to render graphics, animations and games, all without having to use modify the APK or going through the rooting process.
