    Microsoft is going to cut the cord and let its popular OS iteration fade into the oblivion on April 8th. Its the end of the road for Windows XP, which means that there won’t be any more updates, patches or security fixes even if something goes wrong. While the company has been trying very hard to get users to switch from Windows XP, its also doing its best to plug any exploits that might make users vulnerable down the line. The next Windows XP patch is going to drop on March Patch Tuesday and will contain no less than two critical security fixes.

    Sydney’s Underwater World To Receive Street View TreatmentYesterday, we did bring you word that those who are interested in paying Hawaii a visit from their computers can do so thanks to the wonders of Street View on Google Maps, and today we have news that Street View imagery will also deliver something that is different from street level buildings and happenings, literally going under the water along the way. The Catlin Seaview Survey has teamed up with the Sydney Institute of Marine Science, where this combined effort will record and reveal the rich abundance of marine life that reside along Sydney’s famous Harbour and coastline, all the way from Manly to Bronte. This particular project would make use of Catlin Seaview Survey’s 360-degree panoramic SVII camera in order to gather the imagery, where the compiled images will then be published to Google Maps later this year.
