    Eterni.me Lets You Live “Forever”

Eterni.me Lets You Live “Forever”Who wants to live forever? Plenty of us, I suppose. After all, monarchs and great leaders of the past have always wanted to learn the secret of immortality and youth, but until now, everyone would breathe his or her last eventually one of these days. Perhaps there is a way for you to live “forever”, which can be achieved by this particular software known as Eterni.me. Eterni.me will create a computer version of you for when you breathe your last here on earth, allowing your loved ones to interact with “you”. This particular new service would be required to collect as much data as possible about you in order to work its “magic” after you’re gone. I suppose this is a primitive version of what we’ve seen in “Man of Steel”, where Jor-El’s “consciousness” has been successfully replicated somewhat.

Microsoft Turns To Pop-ups To Nag About Windows XP End Of Support

Microsoft Turns To Pop ups To Nag About Windows XP End Of Support

Windows XP may have been one of the most popular desktop OS iterations to come out of Microsoft, but it too has come to its end. The company has been trying hard to get XP users to switch, preferably to Windows 8, however it hasn’t been a smooth ride. Some users simply don’t want to switch because XP works for them, but they could be left vulnerable to possible security threats once Microsoft ends support for XP. To inform users about the cutoff date, Microsoft will now being notifying them through pop-up notifications.

    Pakistan Could End YouTube Ban

Pakistan Could End YouTube BanThose who live in the land of the free and home of the brave might be aghast to hear that YouTube is actually banned in some countries, such as China, Iran and Pakistan at one point or another in time? It seems that Pakistan might eventually end its ban on YouTube, a company that is owned by Google, and it also happens to be the world’s most popular video sharing site. The YouTube ban was imposed in September a couple of years ago after Google Inc. refused to remove the highly controversial video, Innocence of Muslims. Considering how the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has already ordered Google to remove the perceived offensive video, it does seem as though there is no longer any more viable standing for Pakistan to continue its ban on YouTube.

    Japan Joins Wearable Computer Brigade

The world of wearable computing has certainly moved ahead by leaps and bounds, including the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Gear, and folks over in Japan do look as though they are also interested in giving this particular device a go to boot. Hiroshima City University staff member Kazuhiro Taniguchi has come up with a new wearable computer prototype that brings back memories of the personal computer that is worn over the ear by Joaquin Phoenix’s character in Her, which was a recent motion picture. This particularly compact PC’s interface will make use of infrared waves so that it can recognize whenever the computer-wearer opens or closes his or her mouth. As these movements occur, there will be corresponding command signals which will be sent to the miniature mechanism.

Internet Explorer 11 Is Number 2 Desktop Browser Used In The World

Internet Explorer 11 Is Number 2 Desktop Browser Used In The WorldMicrosoft did knock Netscape off from their pedestal, and they have remained at the top of the pack for the longest time already. Of course, over the course of time, there has been new challengers along the way such as Mozilla’s Firefox as well as Google’s Chrome web browsers. The very fact that Microsoft’s Internet Explorer had managed to maintain its position at the top is because it comes pre-loaded with the Windows operating system, but their market share has been declining slowly but surely. When Microsoft first rolled out Internet Explorer 11 as part of Windows 8.1 in October last year, before it was made available to Windows 7 users a month after that, it seems that Internet Explorer 11 has gathered a fair amount of steam – with the latest data from Net Applications showing that IE11 is the second most used desktop browser in the world, taking less than 5 months to do so after its release.

Samsungs Next Chromebook Could Have Faux Leather Finish

Now it appears that Samsung is going to add faux leather to its next Chromebook. An image of such a product has been leaked online which explicitly hints at the possibility of Samsung’s next Chromebook having faux leather on its lid. It isn’t known as yet when Samsung is planning to launch this Chromebook.
