The tagline talks about this being a story about a girl who meets a boy but because this is Whedon, you know all kinds of crazy mysterious things and spectacular maybe sci-fi maybe magical definitely cool things will happen too.

Enough teases. Enough hints. We’ve been waiting months for some real, honest-to-Blob mutant action from X-Men: Days of Future Past. Finally, in the last trailer before the movie finally comes out, we get more than we ever could have hoped for. Snikt!

David Kalb can bounce two basketballs through a moonroof while driving a car, which to me is more awesome than scoring a three-pointer while driving the same car, but whatever. I guess that people love the scoring more than the bouncing.

There are few legal things that can teleport you to another world as well as an excellent long film take in a movie. When those happen—think of those scenes in Children of Men or Goodfellas—you don’t feel like you’re watching a movie anymore, you feel like you’re seeing it happen in real life. Here’s 12 minutes of gameplay footage of Star Citizen, a space flight simulator video game that will let you live in a parallel universe. Not only pilot a spaceship, but have a living avatar there. And with Oculus Rift support, it will be a total alternate universe experience. It looks absolutely fantastic.

NASA is sending a really cool garden to the International Space Station on April 14, on board the SpaceX Dragon. For the first time in history, astronauts will grow their own food in space using this groovy disco box, an important step towards future long-term space travel and extraterrestrial colonies. Incidentally, this must be great to cultivate weed.

One of the things I hate about today’s world is that we take everything for granted. We communicate through light and electricity, fly in metal vehicles, and listen to music recorded decades ago through airwaves—yet everyone is like "whatever." Which is why I love this video of two old women flying for the first time.
