This game room tells you many things at a glance. This gamer clearly loves Halo. He is rocking an Xbox 360. His game collection is neat and orderly. There are a bunch of game weapons on the wall. And he is almost certainly single. I don’t know any wife or girlfriend who would allow such an awesome room.

Prop builder Andrew Cook created an arsenal of replicas of guns and swords from Halo and Mass Effect to decorate his game room with. Clearly, Andrew takes his gaming very seriously. It would be kind of intimidating entering this room to play with him.

The weapons are made primarily from lightweight EPS styrofoam, and no, Andrew won’t sell them to you. But if you want to see how he builds them, you can check out some videos of how the guns were made here. Check out the massive Halo 4 Forerunner Binary Rifle here:

You might remember last month when we talked a bit about the 3Doodler pen. This is a device that reminds me of a combination of a 3D printer and a hot glue gun. The 3Doodler uses strips of plastic to allow the user to build 3D objects only limited by their imagination.

The project got off to a thunderous start blowing out its Kickstarter goal of $30,000 in only a few hours. The first time we wrote about the product, it had raised about $600,000. Now with only a few weeks passed the project has over 23,000 backers and has raised over $2,060,000.

The most impressive part is that the project still has 19 days to go. The project is set to fund on March 25 and sadly, if you didn’t get in early, you are probably looking at about a year from now before you get your hands on the 3Doodler. This is one of the coolest products I’ve ever seen turn up on Kickstarter, so it could be worth the wait.

This unique ball turns the beautiful game into the energy-generating game. Made by a small company called Uncharted Play, the Soccket is a football that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. In other words, you get electricity simply by playing with it.

As you roll and bounce Soccket around, a pendulum inside it cranks a small generator, which in turn is connected to a small battery.  I wouldn’t be surprised if a typical hand-cranked generator can convert energy more efficiently, but of course that’s not as fun to use as the Soccket.

The Soccket weighs 17 oz., just 1 oz. heavier than a normal football. Aside from its power generating capability, the Soccket is also water-resistant, is airless and will never deflate.

Pledge at least $89 (USD) on Kickstarter to get a Soccket. As of now, the electricity stored within the ball can only be used by one device – the complementary LED lamp. But Uncharted Play did say that they’ll come up with more complementary gadgets as well as a USB adapter if Soccket reaches its goal on Kickstarter. Can you imagine if all kinds of sporting balls in the world had a generator inside? We would hate ball games. Just kidding.

A new stuffed bear toy has turned up on Indiegogo that is mostly cute and just a little bit creepy. The bear is called the Teddy Sitter and is supposed to be a fun and educational interactive toy aimed at kids from age 4 to 8. The people behind the project say that the bear knows songs, stories, games, and can play music.

Parents can pre-set reminders for kids to shower, snack, or take medicine. Here’s where the creepy part comes in – the bear also allows parents to monitor their children remotely using a mobile phone application. Using the app, the bear can take pictures and send them to parents, and allows parents to send and receive text messages from the bear.

Oddly enough, the bear can also measure the room temperature and humidity levels. Teddy Sitter includes the ability to call your child by name, has an integrated nightlight, can tell bedtime stories, sing songs, and play MP3 music.

Teddy Sitter will cost you a minimum of €100 (~$132 USD) over on IndieGogo.

I don’t always agree with the choices that Nicolas Cage makes with regards to his career, but I definitely have a strong opinion about his hairstyle – or his lack of one. Nicolas has been sporting variants of the same boring old ‘do for as long as I can remember. If it bugs you as much as it bugs me and his legions of fans and non-fans, then the good news is that there’s something you can do about it.

You won’t be able to make him change it, but you can try to convince him by showing him what he looks like with the help of a couple of dry erase markers and this handy dandy Nicole Cage whiteboard from Brandon Bird.

So you won’t be able to use it for anything else, but at least you’ll be able to have tons of fun and tons of laughs while you unleash your creativity and share it with your bestest pals.
