There are very few stadiums in the world that leave you truly speechless when you walk in. Maracanã is one of them. The other one is Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu, the best club of the 20th century. The famous coliseum is getting a major remake. It looks like a spaceship about to start abducting people.

It’s pretty hard to make Batman jealous. The dude has enough money for an entire world, gadgets to play with everyday, a secret cave to hang out in, dashing good looks and beautiful companions to take out to dinner. But here’s one thing you can have that’s better than Batman’s: a fully returning Batarang in real life. It’s beautiful.

San Francisco is fantastic. I’m admittedly biased because I live here, but behind all the headlines of late—skyrocketing housing prices, burgeoning class war, tech bubble 2.0—it’s still chock full of weird, wonderful, and just plain beautiful stuff. In 2016, a new kind of space shuttle will rise to the skies atop an Atlas V rocket. Developed by a private company—the Sierra Nevada Corporation—it would be able to ferry seven astronauts to orbit and back. Its name is the Dream Chaser and this video shows its (spectacular) development progress so far. A fine spaceship indeed!

This is one of the coolest buildings I’ve seen in a long time: a structure designed to turn everyone into Spider-man by allowing people to climb all over its interior and exterior. It kind of feels like a glitch in the Matrix: a computer-generated mountain that needs more polygons and some textures.

Brooklyn-based photographer Zack Seckler took to the skies over Botswana in an ultra, ultra, ultra-light aircraft to take these incredible pics of native wildlife doing its collective thang. From less than 500 feet up, he was able to capture zebras, cows, and vegetation that are so beautifully composed they look like they’re part of a painting.
