Samurai Fett Custom Star Wars Action Figure: Boba Blade

He’s squat, he’s got tusks, twin blades, much honor, and he is on the hunt for Han Solo. He is Samurai Fett. This sweet custom made Star Wars inspired Boba Fett samurai action figure was created by Emmanuel Pérez del Río, and it looks amazing.

This thing kicks ass. There’s no way that this Fett wouldn’t have survived the Sarlacc pit. Be sure to hit up that link above because there are a ton of images of this one and other awesome samurai figures he has created.

This guy needs to get with a toy company and let the masses enjoy playing with these things. I’d love to see a whole series of Samurai Star Wars characters.

LEGO Swiss Army Knife: Shouldn’t It Be a Danish Army Knife?

I think you can do pretty much anything with LEGO bricks, but it still amazes me that we are seeing unique creations every day. This LEGO Swiss Army Knife comes from LEGO builder Robiwan_Kenobi. You might recognize that it’s made from LEGO Technic and Bionicle parts, which give it some nice authentic detail. And it is really functional.

lego swiss army knife

Kenobi first built a LEGO Swiss Army Knife back in 2010 and ever since, he has been improving on its design. Now, this knife is the end result. The folding mechanism works exactly like the real knife and all four tools within are functional – just not sharp.

In hopes of LEGO turning this into an actual kit you can buy, he put his creation on the LEGO Cuusoo crowdsourcing website, so if you want to show your support, check it out.

Loewe Reference ID TV hits the UK in July with full customization and a 1TB DVR

Loewe Reference ID TV hits the UK in July with full customization and a 1TB DVR

Loewe has staked its success in the TV market on personalized designs, and it’s taking that concept to its logical extreme with the upcoming Reference ID. First shown at IFA last year, the LCD set is now due to reach the UK in July with progressively wilder customization options. Owners will only have a choice of covers for the built-in 160W speaker at first, they’ll get frame selections later in the summer, and full customization of materials and patterns this fall — if they want a set housed in leather and gold, it can happen. Conformists might still be happy with the Reference ID between its 3D-ready 400Hz panel, media streaming and a dual-channel DVR with 1TB of space. Loewe’s adaptable design won’t be cheap for discerning Brits, however: 40-, 46- and 55-inch variants will respectively cost £4,500, £5,500 and £6,500 ($7,007, $8,564 and $10,121), and that’s before applying a personal touch.

Steampunk AT-AT Walker: The Ultimate Engagement Gift

What do you get your fiancee when you are both Star Wars fans? Well, you could get her a boxed set of movies, but a steampunk AT-AT is an even better idea. Too bad it doesn’t actually spew smoke. That’s just some clever Photoshopping.

Broken Journalist made this awesome AT-AT to give to his fiance as an engagement present and thereby assaulted her cold Hoth heart. I’m sure her heart is fine, but it never hurts to present an amazing gift to the one you love.

It actually started out as a vintage AT-AT toy. I love the patina on this thing, which took a bunch of coats of paint to create. You gotta love that widow’s walk on top too.

HTC E1 headlines company’s Chinese online store with custom options (video)

HTC E1 headlines company's Chinese online store relaunch

While the Chinese variants of the HTC One won’t be formally introduced until April 24th, we’ve managed to get our hands on its cousin device: the 603e that sports a similar earpiece design as the One, but without the front-facing BoomSound stereo loudspeakers. The retail name of this dual-SIM (WCDMA 900/2100 and GSM 900/1800/1900) device is actually E1, and HTC pitches it as an affordable Android 4.1 (with Sense 4+) phone with a 2.1-megapixel f/2.0 wide front-facing camera — likely identical to HTC One’s, judging by our own comparison — along with beautification features and the company’s much publicized ImageChip technology. But the real selling point of the E1 is its role in HTC’s new e-commerce strategy in China: while you can get hold of one at an authorized HTC store, HTC’s Chinese “eShop” throws in custom options for the built-in storage (8 or 16GB), main camera (five or eight megapixels, both with only 720p video capture) and one of the six body colors plus patterns. Choosing the top spec combo will also get you a special red body interior.

Personalized USB Flash Drives: Whose Drive Is It Anyway?

USB drives come in all shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, not all of them can be labeled. Whether you want to put on a name label or indicate what type of files are inside, you often won’t be able to do so because the drives are usually too small to fit a label on.

One option would be these fun-looking and uber-colorful drives.

usb touch name drives

They’re from FormURLife, where you can buy these unique and personalized USB drives that’ll let you easily distinguish which USB drive is yours, since you can have it spell out your name. They also help in organizing your drives based on their contents.

Custom USB Drives1
Whatever you want your USB drive to spell out, they can make it happen. The only limitation is that you can choose only up to 10 characters – but that shouldn’t be too hard. They also state that some of the designs may be fragile, so you’ll need to be careful not to toss around your drive too much.

You can also go with the Shift USB drive, which offers the option to have your name spin or slide inside of the drive – though it’s limited to 8 characters.

The drives are available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities. They’re priced at $36, $42, and $50 (USD), respectively.

Nike Lebron X Custom Jaded Hulk Sneakers: HULK SMASH!

If you haven’t tried on some Nike LeBron X, then you’re missing out on some super-comfortable shoes. That being said, if you’re looking for something unique, and Nike ID doesn’t do it for you, check out these customs. They are quite amazing.

nike lebron x jaded hulk custom

The Nike LeBron X Jaded Hulk custom sneaker uses a “Cutting Jade” colorway as its base. From there on, sneaker customizer Chef from GourmetKickz included Bruce Banner’s torn garments and a gradient on the side panels and midsole. A purple tongue with custom insoles complete the look.

Zombie Guitar Ready to Rock the Apocalypse

What kind of guitar will you be rocking when the zombie apocalypse strikes? Travis Stevens is ready to take on the undead with this awesome guitar.

zombie guitar 1

This guitar is decorated bullets, grenades, blood splatter and lots of zombie heads. Travis built this Fender Stratocaster guitar with the knowledge that one day we will have to face the hoards of zombies. On the back, it has a door with the words “Keep out, Dead Inside”.

zombie guitar1

Aside from providing some musical distracation while hiding from zombies, this thing could be used as a sweet weapon if you really needed it and it would only add more blood spatter to the design. If I had to use an axe to kill zombies, it would be this one.
