I’m into sneakers, but these new Reebok shoes are in a league of their own. I’ve never seen an outsole like these, which were designed especially to provide stability on uneven terrain. They’re basically what ATVs are to cars, but for your feet.

The Reebok ATV 19+ training shoe aims to capture the essence of an all-terrain vehicle. They feature nineteen irregular lugs on the sole of each shoe, along with a carbon rubber outsole, rugged heel and toe overlays, and a padded tongue and for support.

The footwear was made to give high-speed stability and increased traction on challenging surfaces, such as loose rocks, sticks, and in varying weather conditions.

The Reebok ATV 19+ will be available this February 1 and they will cost $140(USD). I’m sure that they will allow you to speed away from the competition on rugged terrain, thanks to their unusual design.

Obviously, there’s no way a phone case can transform your iPhone into an actual hard drive – unless, well, it actually comes packed with a spare disk drive on the back. However, it’s way easier to give your smartphone the appearance that it is an actual hard drive, at least when it’s viewed from the back.

Aside from protecting your phone from the elements and making it every geek’s envy, this plastic case might make your iPhone less appealing to thieves, since they might think that it’s just some ratty old hard drive that probably isn’t worth much on the black market. At least, let’s hope they’ll think that way.

My heart breaks every time I hear about school shootings and other incidents where people with guns fire at innocent people for no apparent reason. It’s especially heartbreaking if it happens at a school, no less, where almost no one expects to get hurt because they’re there to learn.

In response to the most recent school shooting in Connecticut, military armor maker Hardwire has taken it upon themselves to create something that I never thought you’d need in school – bulletproof whiteboards and bag inserts to provide teachers and students with their last line of defense.
When faced with a shooter, they can basically take the bulletproof whiteboard and use it as a shield to protect themselves. The whiteboard comes with two handles so it’s easy to grip and handle. While the whiteboard might not be large enough to protect the body of an adult, it will be enough to at least shield the vital parts of the person’s body.

Hardwire has also made a bulletproof insert for backpacks, transforming bags into potentially life-shaving shields in the face of danger.

The bulletproof whiteboard is available in two sizes: the smaller clipboard version costs $109 (USD), while the larger 18×20 inch board is priced at $299. It can shield a person’s head and torso. The bulletproof bag insert is priced at $100.

Weaving is both an art and a learned skill. Given the fact that I cannot weave anything decent to save my life, I have utmost respect for weavers who know their craft, like Nigerian artisan Ojo Obaniyi from Ibadan.

Ojo is so good at weaving that he’s taken on the ultimate challenge for weavers: covering an entire car with wicker.

Did he succeed? I think it’s pretty obvious that he did. It’s a huge feat for the likes of you and me, but it was probably easy as pie for Ojo, who’s been in the weaving business for the past 20 years.

Aside from covering every inch of the exterior of his Volkswagen pickup truck with raffia palm cane, he’s also weaved wicker into the interior seats, dashboard, and steering wheel of the vehicle.

Ojo explains: “I wanted to prove a point that it is not only the educated elite that can make positive changes in society. we, the artisans also have talents to effect a change and make a positive impact in the society. that is why I decided that I too must do something that will make people to recognize me and know me across the whole world and by extension prove to the world that African and indeed the entire black race have very talented people.”

I think he succeeded in doing that and more with this amazing project.
