DmC Devil May Cry Petitioned Against In Outrageous Plea To The White House

Devil May Cry was released last week on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which was met with mixed emotions from long-time fans, but ultimately has been praised by reviewers and is sitting at 86 on Metacritic as of this writing.

Even though critics agree it’s a good game, fans of the series still cannot come to terms with the reboot, and have made it their right as Americans to complain about it to the U.S. government. In one of the weirdest petitions I’ve ever seen, a rather small group of gamers have come together to speak out against Ninja Theory’s reboot of Devil May Cry.

DmC Devil May Cry Arrives On PSN And Blu-ray

dmc3 DmC Devil May Cry Arrives On PSN And Blu ray There are some demons that you do not mind facing, while others – well, others would do better not to surface from your inner self. DmC Devil May Cry has finally arrived for the PS3, where you can opt to pick it up from a store if you are the old school type, or perform a download from the PSN (PlayStation Network) in a day-and-date digital release.

There will be new additions made to the gameplay to keep things fresh, including Demon and Angel powers, where these will enable (and require) Dante to switch fluidly between separate sets of abilities and weapons. Needless to say, the Demon side will deliver heavy-hitting albeit slower attacks, while the Angel side is more agile and deals justice swiftly, although at far lower damage levels. Apart from that, Dante must’ve been inspired by Cirque du Soleil to now use grappling chains in order to propel himself, enemies, and other objects between two points. Will you be picking this title up?

Devil May Cry Demo DLC Details

Thanks to Dominic Matthews from Ninja Theory, we are now able to know more about the upcoming DmC: Devil May Cry demo DLC, which is known as Vergil’s Downfall. Vergil’s Downfall will carry half a dozen brand new missions, where you will be placed in spanking new environments, and you will step into the shoes of Dante’s twin brother Vergil.

Vergil is his own man of course, carrying his very own unique combat system (if you know Vergil from the prior games, then you will be able to recognize some of his signature moves) as well as storyline which we do hope will be heavyweight enough to make the world lust after this game not only for its graphics, but gameplay and gripping story as well.

Not only that, a new game would be nothing if there were no new enemies where you can lay down the smackdown on, and it is nice to know there are new butts to kick as well as the ability to upgrade Vergil’s combat as you play. Once you have completed all the new missions, there will be a quartet of new difficulty modes to unlock – where among them include Son of Sparda and Vergil Must Die.

Devil May Cry’s Dante confirmed for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

Sony has been pretty slow at unveiling the full roster of characters that will be coming to their upcoming brawler, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, but the good news is that according to the Capcom blog, Dante from Devil May Cry has been confirmed to be a playable character in the game. If Dante is a character you’d love to be able to play as in the game, you can check him out in action in his PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale trailer in the video above. In the meantime for those eager to get their hands on the game, it should be noted that Sony has announced that the game will be delayed until the 20th of November as they continue polishing and tuning up the game for a better player experience.
