I am quite sure that all avid gamers out there, especially those who cannot get enough of Blizzard’s Diablo III hack and slash adventure, would have marked March 25th down on their respective calendars as the date where Diablo III: Reaper of Souls will launch. In a move that is most probably meant to whet the appetite of the adoring masses, Blizzard has just introduced a brand new video that will introduce the Crusader class, who happens to be a righteous warrior who ensures that all that is vile and dark will be dispatched of using holy thunder, at the same time managing to ward off vicious attacks and evil of all kinds with a massive shield.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls’ Crusader Revealed original content from Ubergizmo.

While gamers have complained about Diablo 3 and how the game isn’t what they had expected, especially coming from Diablo 2, the game still proved to be quite a hit. In fact if you haven’t been following the news, the game’s expansion, Reaper of Souls, will be released later this month on the 25th of March to be exact.

Diablo 3’s Reaper of Souls expansion is pegged for a release on the 25th of March 2014. However the game is currently up for pre-purchase via Blizzard’s website and if you are still on the fence as to whether or not you wish for your Diablo 3 adventures to continue, you might be interested to learn that Blizzard has revealed new pre-order bonuses that might tempt gamers into purchasing the game today. According to Blizzard, they have revealed two new pre-order bonuses which includes the Wings of Valor in-game costume for Diablo 3 characters, as well as access to Valla the Demon Hunter character which will be playable in Blizzard’s upcoming MOBA, Heroes of the Storm.

This offer will be valid until the 31st of March which means that it will still be up for grabs for a week after the game is released. These new pre-order bonuses will be in addition to the previous bonuses that were mentioned earlier. The game is priced at $39.99 for the standard digital edition, and $59.99 for the digital deluxe edition which will include a spectral hound minion for Diablo 3 characters, a treasure goblin pet for World of Warcraft players, and special portraits for StarCraft 2 gamers. Blizzard’s World of Warcraft MMORPG is probably one of the more older MMORPGs available at the moment, and given that there are plenty of newer games out there with better graphics, different gameplay, different stories, we can’t we’re too surprised to learn that over the past couple of years that the World of Warcraft subscriber base has actually been on the decline, but hold that thought. According to Activision’s latest financial report, it would seem that Blizzard actually saw an increase in subscribers, with the number of active World of Warcraft gamers set at 7.8 million which is up by 200,000 from back in September 2013 where it was reported to be at 7.6 million.

Granted this still pales in comparison from back in the day where World of Warcraft enjoyed 12 million active subscribers, but it’s still a good sign nonetheless. It is unclear as to why Blizzard is enjoying an increase in subscribers. Perhaps it could be the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion that has prompted gamers to revisit the game, who knows? Apart from an increase in World of Warcraft subscribers, Blizzard has also announced that they managed to sell an additional 1 million copies of Diablo 3 this quarter, totalling 15 million copies sold to date.

Back in 2013, Blizzard announced the Diablo 3 expansion, Reaper of Souls.
