Buffalo is set to drop their latest dual-band WiFi router, the WMR-433. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), this ultra-compact WiFi router (45mm x 45mm x 15mm / 19g) is equipped with one Internet LAN port, a WPS button, a micro-USB port for power supply and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 150Mbps and 5GHz – 433Mbps). Available in black, white, pink, blue and yellow color options, the WMR-433 will start shipping from late April for 5,500 Yen (about $54). [Buffalo]

I-O Data is preparing to release another dual-band WiFi router, the WN-AC1600DGR2. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the WN-AC1600DGR2 is equipped with a WPS button, a USB port for reading external HDD, one Internet LAN port, four LAN ports, ‘WiFi setting migration’ function (can migrate the configuration of an existing router with the push of a button on the body) and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 1300Mbps). NEC will also launch their latest dual-band WiFi router, the Aterm WF1200HP. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the Aterm WF1200HP is equipped with one Internet LAN port, three LAN ports, NFC pairing function, WiFi TV mode relay function and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 867Mbps).
