Redditor bacongrease00′s wife made this tome of bread and icing. It bears the cover of The Book of the Dragonborn, one of the books in Skyrim, but inside you’ll find vanilla cake and cannoli cream filling.
Unfortunately for bacongrease00 he won’t be able to stash even a crumb of the cake, because his wife made it for someone else. At least he got some karma out of it.

Skyrim has had a rocky path over the years especially when it comes to the various console releases, but let us sit down and reason about the possibility of next generation consoles getting some Skyrim action along the way. Apparently, a listing on Bethesda’s website has been discovered, where on the Skyrim product page, there was a modified caption which mentioned both the Xbox One and PS4, right after the previous generation listings. The Xbox 360, PS3, and PC text will redirect one to GameStop’s online storefront, although the Xbox One and PS4 text does not do anything – for the moment, at least.
It remains to be seen just how long the listings have been up, but they are there. Bethesda has not confirmed anything just yet, and it is not too far-fetched to to think of Skyrim headed to both the Xbox One and PS4. After all, a successful and hugely popular title like this could very well benefit from another release, and considering the higher price point at which a next-gen title would sell for, it could be a profitable venture to boot. Do you think that having Skyrim on the PS4 or Xbox One will be a success, or would that particular phase have passed by already for most gamers?

Now that Bethesda announced the release date for its Elder Scrolls Online, we’re sure those who religiously play Skyrim will soon migrate over to the highly-anticipated MMO. If you enjoy playing Skyrim on the PC, then you’re probably already aware of all the delightful mods that you can use to add a little something extra to your experience. We reported earlier this year the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of The Elder Scrolls Online will be released in spring 2014, but it looks like Bethesda Softworks has decided to switch things up as not only have they announced when the PC and Mac versions of the game will be released, but have also delayed the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. Beta signups for The Elder Scrolls Online went live earlier this year with many of those who applied being lucky enough to take part in the upcoming MMO. Since then, we’ve seen gameplay footage of The Elder Scrolls Online leak, which has since been taken down. We’ve featured a variety of awesome fan made replicas of weapons and armor from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. But not everyone’s as skilled or patient as those Cosplayborn. That’s where the specialty shop Folkenstal comes in. The shop is devoted to making and selling replicas of items from the RPG. Hey hey hey put that bucket down. The shop is online only. Get a virtual bucket.
On The Level Gaming got its hands on images of some of the shop’s wares. There are helmets, daggers, a bow and various pieces of armor. What? Yes I’ve played Skyrim! Why, that’s the Dagger of Daggering right there!
Head to Folkenstal to order these items. I’m not sure if they’ve been already bought, but some of the armor featured here are not on the shop as of this writing. I wonder if you’ll get a discount on the other items if you get the Amulet of Zenithar first. Yeah! Inside joke! Thanks Google!

There are whispers that The Elder Scrolls: Arena might eventually be remade for the iOS or Android platforms, if the new Australian rating listing for said title could be believed. Bethesda will naturally be behind this remake of the classic DOS role playing game, and it will come in High Definition quality graphics in order to keep up with the times if all of it were to be true. Of course, let us assume that everything else is going to go on as usual, will the title be as engaging as ever, and will there be any changes made to the overall gameplay?
This new listing of The Elder Scrolls: Arena was spotted by games.on.net, where it has already received an M rating, where it has also been noted to be a multi-platform game. The original The Elder Scrolls: Arena arrived on the DOS platform in 1994, and many years later, it has culminated in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Well, well, gamers, what do we have here? Apparently, the Elder Scrolls Online Beta is now up and running live – signups, at the very least. This could very well prove to be the Skyrim MMO that folks have waited for all this while, or could it be that the Elder Scrolls Online experience will be something radically different altogether? There is only one way to figure it out, and that is done by finding out for yourself, of course.
Basically, the floodgates have been opened for the masses to sign up for Elder Scrolls Online Beta, but unfortunately for us, there has been no word whatsoever as to when this particular beta will go live, apart from the short excerpt that both “timing and details of the start of the playtests will be provided at a later date to those who register.” Well, you know what they say, good things come to those who wait, and since you have already waited for a long time, what is a little while more (hopefully)? We do know, however, that Elder Scrolls Online has targeted a 2013 release on both the PC and Mac platforms.

Confession bear time: I’ve never played any Elder Scrolls game, mostly because I don’t enjoy open world games. Which means I don’t know how unusual the weapons in the series can get. Maybe there’s one made from balloons or whatever balloons are called in the games. But I like the design of the Keening dagger. And by that I mean I like this replica.
This replica was made by Bill Doran, who is not a replica Dwemer but a real artisan who is good at making props and costumes. Elder Scrolls fans know that the Keening first appeared in Morrowind, but Doran used its appearance in Skyrim as his guide. The hilt is made of plastic resin with bronze powder, while the crystalline blade – I call it the Heisenberg – was made from “Tap Plastic’s Clear-Lite resin with some green and blue transparent tint added.”
Doran said he the replica will be auctioned off at a Child’s Play event today, although I think that’s exactly what an evil High Priest would say if he’s messing with… with evil magics and stuff. I’ve run out of Elder Scrolls references. Go on, fast travel to Doran’s blog for more pictures and details on the process.
