This giant Cthulhu plush toy is great for so many things. It’s decorative of course, can be used as a kids seat, a giant pillow with arms that wrap around you, and even crib decor as seen here. Of course you risk scarring your child for life.

So what if your child never ever goes for a swim. That’s nothing next to the fun you’ll have scaring him or her with this giant beast. It even has a freakish gaping mouth that looks as scary as the rest of it. This crazy huge Cthulhu monster was made by Etsy seller KfiatekGiftedHands and it certainly makes a statement in your nursery.

Unfortunately, this thing will cost you a wallet-eating $460(USD) or so. On top of that, you need to pay to have it shipped from the U.K. Hey giant Cthulhus don’t come cheap.

Sure, the PS4 and Xbox One (or “XBone” as we like to call it around here) are coming out in just two months, so the idea of buying an Xbox 360 or PS3 doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to someone like me. I always have to be on the bleeding edge, even if there are no games at launch. Still if someone told me that my Xbox 360 and PS3 would be packaged inside of R2-D2, I might make an exception.

There’s not a whole lot of detail posted about this awesome looking gaming system, except that it’s got both an Xbox 360 and PS3 built in, 500 GB of storage (not sure if that’s per console), a single power supply for both consoles, and internal cooling to make sure they don’t overheat.

This R2-unit also has a 13-inch display built into its flip-up head, and four USB ports in front for connecting controllers – though I only see two. It’s possible that it could be this system, but that one build had a projector built in. Or it’s also possible that Etsy seller Ohhshiney is building these based on Mark Bongo’s Instructable. Either way, it’s a pretty nifty game system for Star Wars junkies.

Best of all, you can actually own this system – if you’ve got about $800(USD) to spare. It’s available over on Etsy now, though it says that they are being made to order, so I’m not sure how quickly the system will be in your hands. I suppose if you wait long enough, somebody will build an R2 unit with a PS4 and an XBone built in. Or maybe a C-3PO with an Fairchild Channel F and a Magnavox Odyssey built in.

Suck it Rebel Alliance. Suck it Imperial Empire. I mean that in the nicest way possible. As in, each group can now suck on these awesome lollipops. These intergalactic suckers were created by Priscilla Briggs of Designer Lollipop. The Star Wars universe just got sweeter.

Priscilla has created this neat set of Star Wars-themed Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire insignia lollipops that look too good to eat. You can purchase them from her Etsy store at the link above for $16(USD) for a set of six lollies.

It’s worth looking around in her shop, she has other many great looking lollipops. Even Death Stars, R2-D2s and Stormtroopers. They really look great. I’m not sure how she gets such nice detail. Of course, that’s why she is making candy and I am not.

Anyone who grew up with cassette tapes is going to love these LED mixtape lamps from Etsy seller Break The Record. They look amazing, even if they don’t play any music.

It’s not a totally original idea, but Break The Record offers all kinds of versions of these cassette tape lamps, in all kinds of colors, in sets of ten, a hundred… You name it. I love how they glow, shining through the cassettes, it looks so retro. They would definitely make a statement in your home. Probably in your man cave. They are great for parties too.

The lamps range from about $49(USD) to $240 each depending on the number of tapes and LEDs its made of. The small ones run on AA batteries, so that will cost you a few more bucks, but it also makes them portable.

They look great in almost any color. Though they are among the most expensive cassette box sets ever.
