While I like playing the occasional game of chess, I don’t think I’d be able to make it through a round playing with this chess set without throwing up a little bit in the back of my throat.

Yes, what you’re looking at is an entire chess set made from taxidermied mice. It was made by Etsy creator TheCurious13 “to get people’s attention.” Well, mission accomplished, Curious, mission accomplished.

According to its description the set is made from “fur, taxidermy, mouse, mice, foam, cotton, wire, beads, fabric, wood, paint, paper, and glue.” That’s right, there are so many mice, he had to state it twice. Hey, I made a rhyme!

Each mouse has been dressed in appropriate garb, including tiny crowns for Kings and Queens, and these adorably creepy little bishop’s outfits:

Each of the 32 mice in the set was already dead, frozen and bred to be fed to reptiles, so I suppose this is a slightly more pleasant outcome for them. I guess. Unfortunately (or is it fortunately), the set has already been sold, so we don’t have to worry about the cat eating all our pawns any time soon.

Remember the 80s? Kids had a lot of martial arts weapons back then. In fact I’m surprised that so many of us survived. Between the throwing stars, butterfly knives and nunchuks that everyone was messing around with, it’s amazing there wasn’t a giant ninja war.

If you have fond memories of nunchuks, you might want to hang these hammer nunchuks on your wall. I don’t advise actually using them, since you are bound to kill yourself with a hammer to the head though.

There is no better way to exterminate the past and usher in the future, and celebrate the institution of marriage with Daleks. As long as the Doctor doesn’t show up and ruin everything anyway. There’s nothing worse then a Dalek-themed wedding where the Doctor crashes it and blows up the Daleks because he thought they were misbehaving, only to then look around and see his mistake and apologize. Wedding ruined.

… at least until the good Doctor changes history and makes it right again and invites you all into the TARDIS that is. It’s all better now.Now it’s a crazy timelord party. And all thanks to a Dalek cake topper from Etsy artist gammarayrobots, who has lots of other cool stuff too.

Are you afraid of the dark? Well, this night light probably won’t keep all of the boogey men away, but it will sure stop Bowser from attacking you in your room. It’s-a him! Mario!

This cool night light features a profile of our favorite Nintendo plumber and it will shed some light on even the darkest koopa cave. It measures 3.5″ x 3.5″. It comes from Etsy seller TheBackPackShoppe and it will cost you just $20(USD).

Don’t trust some random night light. A Mario night light is your best option for protection from the dark. Everyone feels better when Mario is around. Though he can’t seem to keep the Princess safe though.

Do only older people still use doilies? Or have younger people starting using them too? I have no idea. I just know that this TARDIS doily is something that both you and your grandparents can agree on.

They can put a bowl of hard candy on it. You can set the remote down on it. It’s all good, bringing several generations of Whovians together and making your home look geeky and old-timey… wimey.

This handmade tatted lace doily comes from Etsy artist DorothyTRose and will cost you a crazy $700(USD). It is about 17 inches in diameter with green, white, blue, and black thread. Each TARDIS has eight panels (five blue and three white, indicating the windows and the “Pull to Open” sign), and a black bar with white pearlescent beads for the “Police Box” section. A large iridescent bead on top represents the TARDIS’ light.
